Then, insert the metal end of a CAM DOWEL (2F) into each HIDDEN CAM except the long edges of the ENDS (A2 and B2). Do not tighten the HIDDEN CAMS in this step.
Step 2 å å Turn six CAM SCREWS (8F) into the FRONT LEGS (G and H). Fasten two CORNER ACCENTS (8E) to the FRONT LEGS (G and H). Use two SILVER 5/8" MACHINE SCREWS (15S). 15S SILVER 5/8" MACHINE SCREW (2 used for the CORNER ACCENTS) 8F (6 used) 8E H 8E G Angled edge www.sauder.

Step 4 å Turn four BLACK 9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (32S) into the ENDS (A2 and B2) until the shoulders of the SCREWS rest on the surfaces of the ENDS. å Slide the END MOLDINGS (O) onto the ENDS (A2 and B2). Step 6 VIEW THE DRAWER GLIDE VIDEO å Fasten the UNIVERSAL CABINET RAILS* (35AA) to the ENDS (A2 and B2) and UPRIGHT (C2). Use twenty-four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S) through holes #1 and #3.
Step 7 å Fasten the LEFT END (B2) and UPRIGHT (C2) to the TOP (D). Tighten four HIDDEN CAMS. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. Step 8 å Fasten the BOTTOM (E) to the LEFT END (B2). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. å Fasten the BOTTOM (E) to the UPRIGHT (C2). Use two BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (2S). å å Slide the SKIRT* (J) onto the notched edge of the BOTTOM (E). Step 10 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (F) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along the two short edges and along the two long edges of the BACK (F). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (F) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). å NOTE: The cut out squares must be toward the TOP (D). Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse.
Step 11 å å Push four FEET (10E) onto the LEGS (G, H, and I). If you're doing this to help a friend, don't leave without a bite. With your hammer, gently tap four TACK GLIDES (12E) through the FEET and into the LEGS. I 10E G 10E I 10E 10E H 12E Page 16 415520 www.sauder.
Step 12 å Fasten the FOOT BRACKET (6E) to the BOTTOM (E). Use three BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å Slide two SUPPORT FEET (P) onto the FOOT BRACKET (6E). Tighten the SUPPORT FEET with two BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å Firmly push the CORNER CAP (5E) onto the SUPPORT FEET (P). Step 13 VIEW THE T-LOCK BOX VIDEO 1 The tabs should insert freely into the slots. Gently tilt the DRAWER SIDES side to side until the tabs slip into the slots. 2 With the palm of your hand, tap the DRAWER BOTTOM down into the groove. Groove Insert the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D30 and D31) at an angle into the slot at each end of the RIGHT BOTTOM DRAWER FRONT (M).
Step 14 VIEW THE DRAWER GLIDE VIDEO å å Insert a SLIDE CAM (10A) into the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D30 and D31). å å å NOTE: The screw head in the CAM must be visible through the slotted hole in the SLIDE. Fasten a DRAWER RIGHT (35AC) to the LARGE DRAWER RIGHT SIDE (D30) and a DRAWER LEFT (35AD) to the LARGE DRAWER LEFT SIDE (D31). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S) through holes #1 and #2. NOTE: The glides are not intended to rotate. Repeat this step for the other DRAWERS.
Step 15 å Fasten the KNOBS (52K) to the TOP DRAWER FRONTS (K and L). Use four GOLD 1" MACHINE SCREWS (50S). å Fasten the PULLS (53K) to the BOTTOM DRAWER FRONTS (M and N). Use eight SILVER 1/2" MACHINE SCREWS (38S). 50S GOLD 1" MACHINE SCREW (4 used for the TOP DRAWERS) K 52K (4 used) 38S SILVER 1/2" MACHINE SCREW (8 used for the BOTTOM DRAWERS) M 53K (4 used) Page 20 415520 www.sauder.
Step 16 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. We recommend using the SAFETY BRACKET (1G) for added stability. Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (1S) into the top of the unit and a BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREW (2S) into a stud in your wall. å To insert the drawers into your unit, tip the fronts of the drawers down and drop the glides on the drawers behind the glides on the unit. Lift the fronts of the drawers up and slide them into the unit.
Step 17 å To make adjustments to the drawers, loosen SCREW #2 in the SLIDES a 1/4 turn, then turn the CAM clockwise or counter-clockwise. Notice how the drawer raises or lowers as you turn the CAM. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. The lower the screw, the lower the drawer front. By adjusting the drawers this way, it will help the DRAWER FRONTS line up better when closed. Tighten the SCREW when finished with adjustments.
