Then, insert the metal end of a CAM DOWEL (2F) into each HIDDEN CAM, except the long edges of the ENDS (A2 and B2). Do not tighten the HIDDEN CAMS in this step.
Step 2 å å Turn six CAM SCREWS (8F) into the FRONT LEGS (G and H). Remember: Righty tighty. Lefty loosey. Fasten two CORNER ACCENTS (8E) to the FRONT LEGS (G and H). Use two SILVER 5/8" MACHINE SCREWS (15S). 15S 8F (6 used) SILVER 5/8" MACHINE SCREW (2 used in this step) 8E H 8E G Angled edge www.sauder.
Step 3 å Fasten the REAR LEGS (I) to the ENDS (A2 and B2). Use six BLACK 2-1/4" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (26S). å Turn four BLACK 9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (32S) into the ENDS (A2 and B2) until the shoulders of the SCREWS rests on the surfaces of the ENDS. å 26S Slide the MOLDINGS (M) onto the ENDS (A2 and B2). Line up the grooves in the MOLDINGS over the heads of the SCREWS in the ENDS.
Step 4 å å Flip the ENDS (A2 and B2) over. Fasten the FRONT LEGS (G and H) to the ENDS (A2 and B2). Tighten six HIDDEN CAMS. 1 2 These surfaces should be even. Step 5 VIEW THE DRAWER GLIDE VIDEO å Fasten the UNIVERSAL CABINET RAILS* (40DA) to the ENDS (A2 and B2). Step 6 å Fasten the LEFT END (B2) to the TOP (C2). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. Insert the METAL PINS (1R) in one end of the DUST RAIL (E) into the holes in the LEFT END (B2). å Fasten the RIGHT END (A2) to the TOP (C2) and BOTTOM (D). Tighten four HIDDEN CAMS. å NOTE: Be sure the METAL PINS (1R) in the end of the DUST RAIL (E) insert into the holes in the RIGHT END (A2).
Step 9 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (N2) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along along the two short edges and along the two long edges of the BACK (N2). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å å Fasten the BACK (N2) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. Push four FEET (10E) onto the LEGS (G, H, and I).
Step 10 VIEW THE T-LOCK BOX VIDEO 1 The tabs should insert freely into the slots. Gently tilt the DRAWER SIDES side to side until the tabs slip into the slots. 2 With the palm of your hand, tap the DRAWER BOTTOM down into the groove. Insert the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D132 and D138) at an angle into the slot at each end of the LARGE DRAWER FRONT (J).
Step 11 VIEW THE DRAWER GLIDE VIDEO å å Insert a SLIDE CAM (10A) into the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D132 and D138). å å å NOTE: The screw head in the CAM must be visible through the slotted hole in the SLIDE. Fasten a DRAWER RIGHT (40DC) to the LARGE RIGHT DRAWER SIDE (D132) and a DRAWER LEFT (40DD) to the LARGE LEFT DRAWER SIDE (D138). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S) through holes #1 and #2. NOTE: The glides are not intended to rotate. Repeat this step for the remaining drawers.
Step 12 å Fasten two KNOBS (52K) to the DRAWER FRONT (K). Use two GOLD 1" MACHINE SCREWS (50S). å Fasten a PULL (53K) to the LARGE DRAWER FRONT (J). Use two SILVER 1/2" MACHINE SCREWS (38S). å Repeat fastening the PULL (53K) to the LARGE DRAWER FRONTS (J). 50S GOLD 1" MACHINE SCREW (2 used for the KNOBS) 52K K 52K 38S SILVER 1/2" MACHINE SCREW (6 used for the PULLS) J 53K www.sauder.
Step 13 å å å Carefully stand your unit upright. å INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: (Also available at www.yl-anchors.com) 1. Insert the SAFETY DRYWALL ANCHOR (61M) through the WASHER (13M) and one end of the SAFETY STRAP (60M). 2. Using a Phillips screwdriver or a hand drill, press the screw slightly onto the drywall. 3. Apply pressure; turn the screw until a pilot hole is made and the nylon sheath slips through. 4. Turn the screw until it is flush against the wall and you feel a firm resistance. 5.
Step 14 å To insert the drawers into your unit, tip the front of the drawers down and drop the glides on the drawers behind the glides on the unit. Lift the front of the drawers up and slide them into the unit. å Apply the WARNING LABEL (11L) to the upper DRAWER BOTTOM (D980). You should be able to read the label when the drawer is open. When the drawer is closed, it will hide the label. Peel off the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram.
Step 15 å To make adjustments to the drawers, loosen SCREW #2 in the SLIDES a 1/4 turn, then turn the CAM clockwise or counter-clockwise. Notice how the drawer raises or lowers as you turn the CAM. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. The lower the screw, the lower the drawer front. By adjusting the drawers this way, it will help the DRAWER FRONTS line up better when closed. Tighten the SCREW when finished with adjustments.
