Step 2 å å Fasten two ANGLE BRACKETS (27G) to each END (A and B) and three ANGLE BRACKETS (27G) to each VALANCE (L and M). Use ten BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). Remember: Righty tighty. Lefty loosey. Step 3 å Fasten the STOP MOLDING (R) to the TOP (E). Tighten six HIDDEN CAMS. These surfaces should be even. S ith M w A ce C fa EN ur D S ID H E R Caution Risk of damage or injury. Step 4 å Fasten the UPRIGHTS (C and D) to the TOP (E). Tighten four HIDDEN CAMS. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. Step 7 Fasten the VALANCES (L and M) to the ENDS (A and B), UPRIGHTS (C and D), and TOP (E). Use six BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S) through the ANGLE BRACKETS and into the holes on the ENDS, UPRIGHTS, and TOP. å å å Don't worry. It isn't Rome. This can be built in a day. NOTE: Be sure to position the VALANCES as shown. Push a DOOR STOP (4I) into the hole in the TOP (E). Step 8 å Fasten the END MOLDINGS (Q) to the ENDS (A and B). Use four BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S) through the ANGLE BRACKETS on the ENDS and into the END MOLDINGS. å NOTE: There are no pre-drilled holes in the END MOLDINGS. Step 9 å å å å Fasten the SKIRT (N) to the BOTTOM MOLDING (P). Use four BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (2S). å NOTE: Do not overtighten the FOOT SCREWS. Fasten the BOTTOM MOLDING (P) to the BOTTOM (F). Use five BLACK 1-1/8" PAN HEAD SCREWS (9S). Carefully turn two FOOT SCREWS (23F) a few turns into the BOTTOM MOLDING (P). Next, turn a FOOT (O) onto the other end of each FOOT SCREW (23F). Turn the FEET clockwise until the FOOT SCREW is tight in the BOTTOM MOLDING (P) and each FOOT.
Step 10 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (G) and lay it over your unit. å Fasten the top edge of the BACK (G) to your unit using thirteen BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). Fasten the remaining BACK (G) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). å NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the UPRIGHTS (C and D). å NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access through the BACK. Carefully cut out the holes needed.
Step 11 å Fasten the HINGES (13H) to the DOORS (H and I). Use eight BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (11S). 13H 11S BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREW (8 used in this step) I H 13H www.sauder.
Step 12 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. å IMPORTANT: The ADJUSTABLE FEET should not extend beyond the bottom edges of the ENDS (A and B). å Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the right diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw. å Fasten the LEFT DOOR (I) to the LEFT UPRIGHT (D) as shown in the lower diagram. Use the screws in the HINGES.
Step 13 å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å The DOORS may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), loosen the mounting screw several turns, then turn the adjusting screw in or out. Tighten the mounting screw after making adjustments. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws.
Step 14 å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (2R) over the METAL PINS (1R). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHTS (C and D). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (J and K) onto the METAL PINS. å Apply the WARNING LABEL (4L) to the TOP (E). You should be able to read the label when the TV is removed from the unit. When the TV is in place, it should hide the label. Peel off the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram.
