It means a video assembly tip is available at www.sauder.com/services/tips Step 1 å Assemble your unit on a carpeted floor or on the empty carton to avoid scratching your unit or the floor. å Push six HIDDEN CAMS (1F) into the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHT (C). Then, insert the metal end of a CAM DOWEL (2F) into each HIDDEN CAM. Do not tighten the HIDDEN CAMS in this step. A C Arrow B Insert the metal end of the CAM DOWEL into the HIDDEN CAM. Step 2 å NOTE: Before beginning this step, separate the SLIDES from the SLIDE SETS (16B) and the DRAWER PINS at the end of the SLIDES using a SCISSORS. Save the DRAWER PINS. You will use them in Step 13. å Fasten the SLIDES (16B) to the RIGHT END (A) and UPRIGHT (C). Use twelve SILVER 3/4" PAN HEAD SCREWS (52S) through the first and last holes in the SLIDES. å 52S NOTE: The SLIDES are marked "RIGHT" and "LEFT" for easy identification.
Step 3 å Fasten the UPRIGHT (C) to the TOP (D). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. Step 4 å Fasten the BOTTOM (E) to the UPRIGHT (C). Use two BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (2S). å Fasten a METAL BRACKET (4G) to the TOP (D). Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (1S). Step 5 å Fasten the ENDS (A and B) to the TOP (D). Tighten four HIDDEN CAMS. å Fasten the ENDS (A and B) to the BOTTOM (E). Use four BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (2S). Step 6 å Fasten five METAL BRACKETS (4G) to the BOTTOM (E) and SKIRT (I). Use five BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å NOTE: Be sure the edges of the METAL BRACKETS are even with the edges of the BOTTOM and SKIRT. å Fasten the SKIRT (I) to the ENDS (A and B) and BOTTOM (E). Step 7 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (F) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (F). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (F) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). å Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the UPRIGHT (C).
Step 8 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. å Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw. å Fasten the DOOR (G) to the LEFT END (B). Use the screws in the HINGES. See the next step for door adjustments. å Fasten a PULL (45K) to the DOOR (G). Use two SILVER 7/8" MACHINE SCREWS (24S). å Repeat this step for the other DOOR (G).
Step 9 å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å The DOORS may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), then turn the adjusting screw in or out. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOORS up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments.
Step 10 å Fasten the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D486) to the LARGE DRAWER BACK (D490). Use four BLACK 1-1/2" PAN HEAD SCREWS (49S). å Slide the DRAWER BOTTOM (D614) into the grooves in the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D486) and LARGE DRAWER BACK (D490). å Repeat this step for the other drawers. The small drawer will use the DRAWER SIDES (D488) and DRAWER BACK (D491). Be sure the grooves in each part line up with each other on the inside of the drawer.
Step 11 å Push four DRAWER FRONT BRACKETS (30G) into the holes in the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D486). å Fasten the DRAWER FRONT BRACKETS (30G) to the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D486). Use eight BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (11S). å Fasten the LARGE DRAWER FRONT (J) to the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D486). Use four BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å Fasten the PULL (45K) to the LARGE DRAWER FRONT (J). Use two SILVER 7/8" MACHINE SCREWS (24S). å Repeat this step for the other drawers using the SMALL DRAWER FRONT (N).
Step 12 å With a hammer, gently tap four SHELF SNAPS (6R) into the holes in the ADJUSTABLE SHELF (H). 6R H 6R Page 16 413123 www.sauder.
Step 13 å To insert the drawers into your unit, line up the grooves on the DRAWER SIDES with the SLIDES on your unit. Slide the drawer into the unit until it is about 3" or 4" away from the back of your unit. å Using your hammer, gently tap two DRAWER PINS (from Step 2) into the holes in your DRAWER SIDES (D486 and D488). å NOTE: The DRAWER PINS are used as a locking system for your drawer. When the DRAWER PINS are in place, you will not be able to remove the drawer from your unit.
Step 14 å Apply the WARNING LABEL (5L) to the upper DRAWER SIDE (D488). You should be able to read the label when the drawer is open. When the drawer is closed, it will hide the label. Peel off the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram. å NOTE: This is a permanent label intended to last for the life of the product. Once applied, do not try to remove it. å Peel the APPLIQUES from the APPLIQUE CARD (29P). Stick the APPLIQUES over the heads of each visible SCREW in the ENDS (A and B).

Enfoncer six EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES (1F) dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) et le MONTANT (C).
