Step 9 å Fasten the TOP SHELF (I) to the RIGHT END (A). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. å Fasten the RIGHT UPRIGHT (C) to the TOP SHELF (I). Tighten a TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER. å Push a CORD CLIP (WW) into the hole in the TOP SHELF (I). å NOTE: The CORD CLIP is used to manage your cords. How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER 1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part.

Use six BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (JJJ). å NOTE: Be sure the BRACKETS are even with the edges of the BOTTOM and TOP MOLDING. å Fasten the TOP MOLDING (X) to the TOP (F). Use three BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (JJJ). å Fasten the SKIRT (Z) to the BOTTOM (G). Use three BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (JJJ). Step 15 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (M) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along both side edges and bottom edge of the BACK (M). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å Fasten the top edge of the BACK (M) to the VALANCE (R). Use six BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (JJJ). å å Finish fastening the BACK (M) to your unit using the NAILS (OOO). å NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access through the BACK.
Step 16 å Fasten the DRAWER SIDES (V) to the DRAWER BACK (U) and DRAWER BOTTOM (W). Use eight BROWN 1-1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (DDD). å NOTE: Be sure the smaller holes in the DRAWER SIDES face towards the front. Step 17 å Push two DRAWER FRONT BRACKETS (OO) into the holes in the DRAWER SIDES (V). å Fasten the DRAWER FRONT BRACKETS (OO) to the DRAWER SIDES (V). Use four BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (MMM). å Fasten the DRAWER FRONT (T) to the DRAWER SIDES (V). Use two BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (JJJ) through the DRAWER FRONT BRACKETS (OO) on the DRAWER SIDES and into the DRAWER FRONT. å Fasten a KNOB (SS) to the DRAWER FRONT (T). Use a BLACK 7/8" MACHINE SCREW (HHH).
Step 18 å å Carefully turn your drawer over. Fasten the SWIVEL ROLLERS (PP) to the DRAWER BOTTOM (W). Use eight BLACK 9/16" PAN HEAD SCREWS (LLL). Be sure the flat part of the SWIVEL ROLLER is down toward the DRAWER BOTTOM. LLL BLACK 9/16" PAN HEAD SCREW (8 used in this step) PP W www.sauder.
Step 19 å Fasten two STRAIGHT HINGES (RR) to the FLIP DOWN DOOR (O). Use four BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (MMM). å Fasten four CURVED HINGES (QQ) to the DOORS (N). Step 21 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. å Fasten the FLIP DOWN DOOR (O) to the SHELF (H). Use the screws in the STRAIGHT HINGES (RR). See step 23 for door adjustments. å Fasten the LIDSTAYS (LL) to the ENDS (A and B). Use four BLACK 9/16" PAN HEAD SCREWS (LLL). å Fasten six KNOBS (SS) to the FLIP DOWN DOOR (O). Use six BLACK 7/8" MACHINE SCREWS (HHH). Pro Tip: Lift with your legs. And, you know, your arms.
Step 22 å Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw. å Fasten a DOOR (N) to the RIGHT END (A). Use the screws in the HINGES. See the next step for door adjustments. å Fasten a KNOB (SS) and BACKPLATE (TT) to the DOOR (N). Use a BLACK 1-1/8" MACHINE SCREW (FFF). å Repeat this step for the other DOOR (N).
Step 23 å å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOOR up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments. å To adjust the DOORS in or out (depth), loosen the mounting screw one turn and move the DOOR in or out, as needed. Tighten the mounting screw after making adjustments. The DOORS may need some adjustments.
Step 24 å Fasten the DRAWER SLIDES (40AY and 40AZ) to the PRINTER SHELF (K). Use four BROWN 1" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (GGG). å NOTE: The DRAWER SLIDES are marked "DRAWER RIGHT" and "DRAWER LEFT" for easy identification. å Push a CORD CLIP (WW) into the hole in the bottom of the PRINTER SHELF (K). å NOTE: The CORD CLIP is used to manage your cords. Step 25 å Insert the Drawer half way into your unit. Then, insert two LONG METAL PINS (ZZ) into the holes in the bottom of the SMALL SHELF (L). å NOTE: The LONG METAL PINS are used as a locking system for your drawer. Step 26 å Turn four SILVER 5/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (III) halfway into the holes in the OUTLET SHELF (J). Do not completely tighten the SCREWS. å Then, slide the OUTLET (KK) onto the heads of the SCREWS in the OUTLET SHELF (J). å Insert the GROMMETS (UU) into the large holes in the SHELVES (I and J). Step 27 å To insert the PRINTER SHELF (K) into your unit, tip the front of the SHELF down and drop the rollers on the SHELF behind the rollers on the unit. Lift the front of the SHELF up and slide it into the unit. å å Push a CAM COVER (YY) onto each visible HIDDEN CAM. å We recommend using the SAFETY BRACKET (MM) for added stability. Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (JJJ) into the right or left side of the unit and a BLACK 1-7/8” FLAT HEAD SCREW (BBB) into a stud in your wall.
