Step 8 å Turn four BLACK 9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (QQ) into the ENDS (A and B) until the shoulder of the SCREWS rest on the surface of the ENDS. å Slide the END MOLDINGS (P) onto the ENDS (A and B). Line up the groove in the MOLDINGS over the head of the SCREWS in the ENDS. P B P A QQ BLACK 9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREW (4 used in this step) Shoulder Apply pressure with your hands as you guide the MOLDINGS over the SCREWS and onto the ENDS. www.sauder.

Step 10 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (E) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (E). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (E) to your unit using the NAILS (TT). Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the SHELF/BOTTOM (D).
Step 11 å Fasten four HINGES (Y) and four HINGE SPACERS (Z) to the DOORS (F). Use eight SILVER 5/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (OO). Don't worry. It isn't Rome. This can be built in a day. OO SILVER 5/8" FLAT HEAD SCREW (8 used in this step) Y Z F F Y Z Page 16 409934 www.sauder.
Step 12 å å å Carefully stand your unit upright. Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the right diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw. Stop Mounting screw Fasten the DOOR (F) to the LEFT END (B) as shown in the lower diagram. Use the screws in the HINGES. You should start each SCREW a few turns before completely tightening any of them.
Step 13 å å å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOORS up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments. å To adjust the DOORS in or out (depth), loosen the mounting screw one turn and move the DOORS in or out, as needed. Tighten the mounting screw after making adjustments. The DOORS may need some adjustments.
Step 14 VIEW THE T-LOCK BOX VIDEO The tabs should insert freely into the slots. Gently tilt the DRAWER SIDES side to side until the tabs slip into the slots. 1 With the palm of your hand, tap the DRAWER BOTTOM down into the groove. 2 Un fi su nish rfa ed ce D26 D981 D26 D27 D27 K K Be sure the DRAWER BOTTOM inserts into the DRAWER FRONT groove. Groove Insert the DRAWER SIDES (D26 and D27) at an angle into the slot at each end of the DRAWER FRONT (K).
Step 15 å å Insert two SLIDE CAMS (JJ) into the DRAWER SIDES (D26 and D27). å NOTE: The screw head in the CAM must be visible through the slotted hole in the SLIDE. Fasten the DRAWER RIGHT (35GC) and DRAWER LEFT (35GD) to the DRAWER SIDES (D26 and D27). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (SS) through holes #1 and #3.
Step 16 å Fasten the KNOBS (HH) to the DRAWER FRONT (K). Use three BLACK 1-1/8" MACHINE SCREWS (NN). NN BLACK 1-1/8" MACHINE SCREW (3 used for the KNOBS) K HH www.sauder.

Step 18 å To insert the drawer into your unit, tip the front of the drawer down and drop the rollers on the drawer behind the rollers on the unit. Lift the front of the drawer up and slide it into the unit. å Insert the METAL PINS (EE) into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (G2) onto the METAL PINS so the SHELF SNAPS are resting on the METAL PINS. Push on the SHELF until each METAL PIN "snaps" into the SHELF SNAP.
Step 19 å å Apply the WARNING LABEL (KK) to the left DOOR (F). You should be able to read the label when the DOOR is open. When the DOOR is closed, it will hide the label. Peel off the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram. NOTE: This is a permanent label intended to last for the life of the product. Once applied, do not try to remove it. WARNING Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tip-over. To help prevent tip-over: -Place heaviest items in the lowest drawers.
Step 20 å We recommend using the SAFETY BRACKET (AA) for added stability. Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (PP) into the top of the unit and a BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREW (MM) into a stud in your wall. Step 21 å To make adjustments to the drawers, loosen SCREW #3 in the SLIDES a 1/4 turn, then turn the CAM clockwise or counter-clockwise. Notice how the drawer raises or lowers as you turn the CAM. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. The lower the screw, the lower the drawer front. By adjusting the drawers this way, it will help the DRAWER FRONTS line up better when closed. Tighten the SCREW when finished with adjustments.
