Step 4 å Fasten the LEGS (I) to the ENDS (A and B). Tighten ten HIDDEN CAMS. å Fasten the FEET (K) to the LEGS (I). Use two BLACK 1-5/8" PAN HEAD SCREWS (Y). 1 2 These surfaces should be even. I A B I K K Y BLACK 1-5/8" PAN HEAD SCREW (2 used for the FEET) Page 8 409046 www.sauder.
Step 5 å Fasten the SHELF/BOTTOMS (D) to the ENDS (A and B). Tighten eight TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER 1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part. NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully inserted in the hole of the adjoining part while locking the FASTENER. 2. Tighten the FASTENER with a Phillips screwdriver as tight as possible. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse.
Step 6 å Fasten the TOP (C) to the ENDS (A and B). Tighten four TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. Rounded edge C B A Page 10 409046 www.sauder.
Step 7 å Fasten nine METAL BRACKETS (Q) to the TOP (C) and SHELF/BOTTOMS (D). Use nine BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (AA). å NOTE: Be sure the BRACKETS are even with the edges of the SHELF/BOTTOMS. å Fasten the VALANCES (J) to the TOP (C) and SHELF/BOTTOMS (D). Use nine BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (AA). AA BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (18 used in this step) Angled edge (9 used) Q J Angled edge C Angled edge J D J D www.sauder.
Step 8 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (E) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (E). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (E) to your unit using the NAILS (CC). Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the SHELF/BOTTOM (D).
Step 9 å Fasten two HINGES (O) to each DOOR (F). Use eight BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (BB). BB BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREW (8 used in this step) O F F O www.sauder.
Step 10 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. Pro Tip: Lift with your legs. And, you know, your arms. Push four RUBBER SLEEVES (W) over four METAL PINS (V). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B). Set the SMALL ADJUSTABLE SHELF (H) onto the METAL PINS. A H B V W Page 14 409046 (4 used) www.sauder.
Step 11 å Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the right diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw. å Fasten a DOOR (F) to the RIGHT END (A). Use the screws provided in the HINGES. See the next step for adjustments. å Fasten a KNOB (R) and BACKPLATE (S) to the DOOR (F). Use a BLACK 1-1/8" MACHINE SCREW (Z). å Peel the BUMPERS from the BUMPER CARD (T).
Step 12 å å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), turn the adjusting screw in or out. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOORS up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments. å To adjust the DOORS in or out (depth), loosen the mounting screw one turn and move the DOORS in or out, as needed.
Step 13 å Push the remaining RUBBER SLEEVES (W) over the METAL PINS (V). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (G) onto the METAL PINS. å Push a CAM COVER (U) onto each visible HIDDEN CAM in the ENDS (A and B). G U (10 used) To cover HIDDEN CAMS G A B V W www.sauder.
Step 14 å å IMPORTANT: This unit must be positioned against a wall. å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information. å This completes assembly. Clean with your favorite furniture polish or a damp cloth. Wipe dry. We recommend using the SAFETY BRACKET (P) for added stability. Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (AA) into the top of the unit and a BLACK 1-7/8" PAN HEAD SCREW (X) into a stud in your wall.

PASO 1 PASO 6 NOTA: No apriete los SUJETADORES TWIST-LOCK® por ahora. Fije el PANEL SUPERIOR (C) a los EXTREMOS (A y B). Apriete cuatro SUJETADORES TWIST-LOCK®. Ensamble la unidad sobre un piso alfombrado o sobre el cartón vacío para evitar rayar la unidad o el piso.
