Getting Started
Before using the mini-S3 BTGPS Receiver, the following tasks
must be completed:
 install a GPS/Mapping application software properly and
completely on the host device.*
 enable Bluetooth on the host device.*
 fully charge the mini-S3 BTGPS receiver.
* For information about the operation of the host device and GPS/Mapping
application software installation procedures, please refer to the
documentation that accompanies each product respectively.
1. Turn on the power of the mini-S3 & host device.
► Turn on the power of the host device and prepare for connection.
► Turn on the power of the BTGPS, the power switch is indicated as “B” in Figure 2.
(Make sure the battery of the BTGPS is fully charged.)
Once the mini-S3 is powered-on and before being paired/connected, the LED
indicator lights should look like this:

BLUE
Flashing one time every second
GREEN
Constant on (i.e. no fixed position)
ORANGE/RED
No light (if fully charged)
