Parameter Options Default Description
Dial-out Connection Options
Redial Attempts 0-1000,
0 = dial forever
0 The number of dial attempts to
connect to a remote modem if a
connection was unsuccessful.
Time Between
Redial Attempts
0-9999 sec 1 A time delay between redials.
Connection
Timeout
0-9999 sec 180 The modem cancels a call if not
connected within the connection
timeout time.
Idle Time Before
Hanging Up
1-9999 sec 60 The modem disconnects a call if idle
for more than the specified idle
time.
Phone Number The telephone number of the ISP
provider.
Login Name Login name for logging onto the
Internet.
Login Password Login password for logging onto the
Internet.
Configuring Wireless RF Connections
Using HyperTerminal or Telnet
To enter the IP–Link 2000 RF modem menu, type iplink and press Enter.
>iplink
You will be prompted for the password (0 - default).

To view or change the RF modem parameters, type sys and press Enter. If
you want to change a parameter, type your new setting after the prompt and
press Enter. To leave the setting unchanged, just press Enter.
