Activating the Service Mode
Purpose
The Service mode allows access to an
extended menu. It is required in order to
carry out the most important calibration
and adjustment work on the Combics and
on any connected weighing platform(s).
When the Service mode is activated, an
“S" appears in the upper right corner of the
indicator. The Service mode is deactivated
by restarting the indicator.
Setting up the Service mode
e Switch the Combics off and on again
While the self-test of the indicator is running press the ) key
k k access the “Setup" menu
) Select “Setup"
If a password is required at this point (“CODE" appears in the indicator for 2 sec,
then the password prompt); proceed as below next to the described “password prompt."
Press
k repeatedly to access the “Code" menu
) and confirm.
The password prompt appears.
Enter the service code (see Appendix)
) and confirm.
The Service mode is activated: An “S" is displayed in the upper right corner of the indicator.
