General product information :
1. The equipment is a movable for general use in information technology equipment.
2. All models are identical except product name, model designation and trade-mark for marketing purpose.
3. The external power adapters are approved products which were evaluated according to EN 60950-1, for
detail information see appended table 1.5.1.
4. The equipment’s top enclosure is secured to bottom enclosure by snap-shelf.
5. The equipment is incorporated with following critical parts :
1) Plastic enclosure.
2) Main board detail as below :
- 5 x RJ-45 port.
- 1 x USB port.
Engineering Considerations :
1. The product was submitted and tested for use at the maximum ambient temperature(Tma) permitted by
the manufacturer’s specification of : +40
2. Unless otherwise specified the tests were performed on model : BR485d.
3. The load conditions used during testing :
- All connectors connected and transmit data continuously and USB port connector with a dummy load of
2.5W to represent the USB load.
4. The external power adapter was in compliance with Limited Power Sources requirements. See appended
table 1.5.1 for detail.
5. The maximum ambient temperature of external power adapter is +25 . However, the power adapter
additional requirement test and evaluated under +40 ambient had been considered with this equipment.
6. The product is in compliance with the requirements of IEC/EN 60950-1.
7. All output data ports have been evaluated complying with Limited Power Source.
