7.4 TRANSMITTER UNWANTED EMISSIONS WITHIN THE 5 GHZ RLAN
BANDS

ETSI EN 301 893 clause 4.5.2.1
These are radio frequency emissions within the 5 GHz RLAN bands.

Note: dBc is the spectral density relative to the maximum spectral power density of the transmitted
signal.
The average level of transmitter unwanted emissions within the 5 GHz RLAN bands shall
not exceed the limit of the mask provided in figure 1 or the limit for unwanted emissions
provided in table 3, whichever is the higher.
NOTE: The mask is only applicable within the band of operation. Beyond the band edges the
requirements of clause 4.5.1 apply.
In case of smart antenna systems (devices with multiple transmit chains) each of the
transmit chains shall meet this requirement.
