You can use each Exchange data source like a database table and you can link each Exchange data
source to other data sources. For example, you can join the Message Tracking Log to an Address List
by using an e-mail address as the link field.
The data translation file used to access the Exchange data source depends on the data source that is
being accessed. The following table lists each of the Exchange data translation files and describes their
purpose:
Data sourceFile name
Exchange Server Message Tracking Logscrdb_p2strack.dll
Exchange Folders and Address Bookcrdb_p2smapi.dll
Exchange Server Mailbox Admincrdb_p2sexsrm.dll
Exchange Server Public Folders Admincrdb_p2sexsrp.dll
Exchange Public Folder Replicacrdb_p2srepl.dll
Public Folders Access Control Lists (ACL)crdb_p2sacl.dll
Physical Server DLL for Microsoft Outlook
crdb_p2soutlk.dll
p2soutlk.dll
Exchange translation files work directly with the Microsoft Messaging API (MAPI). MAPI acts as a
database engine for Exchange data.
