Monitor Plus
By connecting four DSR-HB8000 units via a network, this
feature offers a capability to view all 80 camera images on the
main DSR-HB8000 unit.
Easy and Secure Backup
With the DSR-HB8000, the user can simply click on the Data
Back-up icon on the Surveillance screen to store and manage a
large amount of information on the network. In addition to the
built-in HDD, a CD-R, CD-RW, or DVD on the integrated CD /
DVD drive or a memory stick on the USB port can be selected
as a backup destination.
MPEG-4
The MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group) -4 standard was
designed to reproduce a wide range of moving pictures from
those on a low speed communication line to those with
high-definition TV picture quality. Also available is SANYO’s
proprietary format, the MPEG-4+ mode, which requires fewer
resources. It is more advantageous in networks, enabling
smooth video reproduction with a special playback operation.
Digital security system is composed of
analog and network cameras in a system
The DSR-HB8000 is a hybrid model that is capable of
connecting and controlling network cameras* and conventional
analog cameras simultaneously.
*Supported by JPEG only
Simultaneous Recording and Playback
(Max. 720 x 576 pixels per channel)
Camera Telemetry Control
DSR-HB8000 is capable of controlling PTZ dome cameras
and zoom cameras through coaxial cables or RS-485. It
also allows this control from a network PC or a controller.
The unit also supports protocols of other major brands.
Full-motion, Multiple Screen Display of Live Video
Images
The monitor can display different video images from 4ch
up to 16ch simultaneously, in addition to displaying a
single channel in full-screen mode.
Add Text Information on the Surveillance Video
Recorded images can be looked up using the text data in
the electronic journal. The AVE Interface provides access
to the journal data containing information on a POS
system or ATM terminals. For example, a transaction
record on such systems can identify the operator, the
time and date, the terminal, or the customer for any
deposit, withdrawal, or exchange. This will serve as a
valuable tool in enhancing the security system.
