Voicemail Key Guide
Here’s a quick guide to your keypad functions while
listening to voicemail messages.
Messaging
With messaging, you can send and receive instant
messages between your device and another
messaging-ready device. When you receive a new
message, a new message icon will appear on the
status bar.
There are two types of messaging, Text Messaging
(SMS) and Multimedia Messaging (MMS).
Multimedia messages consist of both text and
multimedia files, such as pictures, videos, or voice
recordings.
Composing Messages
1. Touch > > Messaging > New message.
2. Enter a phone number or email address into the To
field. As you type, a matching information in your
Contacts will appear as a list. Touch an entry to
select, or touch when you finish entering a
recipient.
3. Enter your message into the Type to compose field.
4. To access more features, touch for the
following options:
Add subject to add a subject to the message.
Attach to add a file attachment. See “Attaching
Files to a Message” on page 90.
Insert smiley to add smiley icons to the message.
Discard to discard the message.
Rewind Replay
Pause
Forward
Date/Time
Erase
Save
