Setting the Next Schedule
You can display the next scheduled event on the Outer
Screen.
1. Select and press > Settings > Display >
Outer Screen > Next Schedule.
2. Select On. (Select Off to deactivate this feature.)
Changing the Text Greeting
A text greeting is displayed on your phone’s screen in
standby mode. Choose the phone’s default greeting
(“Sprint”), or enter your own custom greeting.
1. Select and press > Settings > Display >
Outer Screen > Foreground > Greeting

2. Select Default or Custom.

If you select Custom, enter a custom greeting and
press OK (left softkey) > Done (left softkey).
(See “Entering Text” on page 29.) (Use the key
to erase the existing greeting.)
Location Settings
Your phone is equipped with a Location feature foruse
in connection with location-based services.
The Location feature allows the network to detect your
position. Turning Location off will hide yourlocation from
everyone except 911.
Note
Turning Location on will allow the network to detect
your position using GPS technology, making some
Sprint applications and services easier to use.
Turning Location off will disable the GPS location
function for all purposes except 911, but will not
hide your general location based on the cell site
serving your call. No application or service may use
your location without your request or permission.
GPS-enhanced 911 is not available in all areas.
