Part II: Camera configuration and control via the web
1. General
The camera can conveniently be operated by accessing it via the web. There are 2 options to
access the camera:
1. Using the IP-Finder:
On the supplied CD, you will find the SANTEC IP-Finder. Please install the IP Finder
on your computer/laptop. Start the IP-Finder. All IP devices in this network will be
found automatically and listed here with their IP address. Double-click on the desired
device.
2. Using the Web Browser:
Start your Web Browser and enter the IPaddress in the address field.
Default IP address: 192.168.1.168
(or DHCP-assigned address, if available (see IP-Finder))
Default user name: admin
Default password: 9999

klicken Sie bitte auf “Installieren”.
The live view page is displayed now.
2. Menu overview
Once the camera is connected to the power and the camera is accessed via the web
browser, you will see the live view. Click on “Admin” and the following items will be displayed
in the menu bar on the top of the screen.
<Live view>, <System>, <Streaming> and <Camera>.
Live view:
The live picture is displayed.
System:
The administrator can set the host name, system time zone and other time options.
Streaming:
The administrator can modify the video resolution and the video rotate type.
Camera:
Users can adjust various camera parameters.
PTZ (only for SNC-3322, SNC-8322I and SNC-8322HO):
Here you can adjust the settings for pan, tilt and zoom functions.
Note:
It is highly recommended to change
the default user name and password
here (see chapter 2.3.2.1:
