3.2 Firmware update
The firmware is a software which is installed on the IP camera and which controls all its
functions. Having made the latest firmware update, the newest functions are ready to be
used.
On our website, we post the most up-to-date firmware version for this camera. Therefore we
recommend to always update the camera with the latest firmware version. You will find the
firmware here:

It is easy and fast to install the latest firmware version on your SANTEC IP camera.
1. Call-up the web interface of the SANTEC IP camera.
2. In the menu bar, click on "System" and then select „Firmware Update“.
3. Follow the instructions on this page to update the firmware.
4. As a next step, the new firmware is installed on your camera. This process may take
a few moments. As soon as the upgrade process has been completed, the camera
automatically reboots.
5. Finally, we recommend to restore the camera to factory default settings. Click on the
menu item “Factory default”.
