2.3.5.4 Periodical event
These settings can be found under this path: System > Event >Periodical event
The camera is able to store period JPEG files. This is a kind of time lapse function which
might be useful when monitoring e.g. for construction sites, webcams or weather cams.
These files will be stored on either a FTP server, NAS or sent as an e-mail notification. It is
necessary to define one camera stream to MJPEG stream. Since the camera has an
integrated FTP server, it can be used to store the JPEG files to the SD card (optionally
available).
Enable the function “Periodic event”.
Define the interval to take the pictures (30 – 3600 seconds).
Define the triggered action, i.e. how/where the picture files are to be stored (FTP,
NAS or e-mail notification).
File name:
Define a file name:
o Add date/time suffix:
File name: imageYYMMDD_HHNNSS_XX.jpg
Y: Year, M: Month, D: Day
H: Hour, N: Minute, S: Second
X: Sequence number
o Add sequence number suffix:
File name: imageXXXXXXX.jpg
X: Sequence number
o Overwrite:
The original image in the FTP site will be overwritten by the newly uploaded
file with a static file name.
Click on the <Save> button to save all the settings in this page.
