2.3.5 Events
2.3.5.1 Alarm I/O (only for models with alarm input/output)
The alarm IO management settings can be found under this path:
System > Events > Alarm I/O
The IP camera is equipped with one alarm input and one relay output for cooperating with
alarm system to capture events’ images.
Please also see “Part I, chapter 2.6: Connect alarm I/O”.
Alarm switch:
The administrator can enable or disable the alarm function or set it according to schedule.
For alarm setting by schedule, this has to be done as described in chapter 2.3.8.
Alarm type:
Select the alarm type, either <Normal close> or <Normal open>.
Alarm output:
Define the alarm output signal, either <high> or <low>.
Triggered action (multiple options):
The administrator can specify alarm actions that will be taken when an alarm is triggered.
Options are as follows:
Enable alarm output
IR cut filter:
You can define whether the IR cut filter is enabled or disabled in case of an alarm.
