Air Filtration
The Santa Fe Advance dehumidier is equipped with MERV-13 air lter (89-90% ASHRAE dust spot). An optional MERV-8
or MERV-11 lter is available at www.ThermastorFilters.com. The lters should be checked and replaced every three to
six months. Operating the unit with a dirty lter will reduce dehumidier capacity and efciency.
DO NOT operate the unit without a MERV-8, MERV-11 or MERV-13 lter. Filter non-compliance voids the product warranty.
Changing the Filter
For greatest ltration and efciency of the Santa Fe Advance dehumidier, it is recommended the air lters
be replaced every three to six months.
Step 1 - Remove the magnetized lter door by
pulling it off of the dehumidier. You can remove
it on either side to gain access to the lter.
Step 2 - Remove the lter by pulling it out of
the lter compartment.
CAUTION!
MAKE SURE UNIT IS OFF BEFORE CHANGING THE FILTER. FAILURE TO FOLLOW FILTER HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS MAY
RESULT IN IMPROPER FUNCTION OF THE DEHUMIDIFIER AND CAUSE PREMATURE FILTER WEAR OR UNIT DAMAGE.
Step 3 - Insert the new lter into the lter compartment and attach the magnetized lter door back into
place, ensuring it covers the lter compartment completely. Be sure the arrows on the lter are facing into
the dehumidier.
