To connect the LCD TV to a DTV receiver/set-top box
If you connect a DTV receiver/set-top box, connect your LCD TV to a DTV receiver/set-top box using a
component video cord.

To connect the LCD TV to an HDMI or a DVI device
The HDMI input receives digital audio and uncompressed video from an HDMI device or uncompressed digital
video from a DVI device.
When you connect to a DVI device with an HDMI-to-DVI adapter cable, it transfers only the video signal.
Separate analog audio cords are required.

• If you connect an external component (cable box, satellite receiver, etc.) to this LCD TV using an HDMI cable
or a DVI to HDMI cable, the image will not display ifthe output resolution of the component is set to 480i. To
receive the picture you must change the output resolution on the external component.
Should you require further instruction, please contact the manufacturer of the external component.
• When you connect a DVI device, you must connect only with HDMI-1.
