Selecting Stereo/Second Audio Program (SAP)/
Sound control adjustment
The multi=channel TV sound (MTS)
feature provides high=fidelity
stereo sound. WiTSalso can
transmit a second audio program
(SAP) containing a second
language or other audio informa=
tion.
When theTV receives a stereo or
SAP broadcast, the word "Stereo"
or "SAP" displays on=screen every
time you turn theTV on, change
the channel, or press DISPLAY.
Selecting Stereo/Second Audio Program (SAP)
Press MENU. Then press A or
V to select "Audio" menu, then
press _.
Press A or V to select "MTS",
then press i_ or ENTER to
select "Stereo".
Press MENU to return to the normal screen.
NOTE:
• Generally you can leave yourTV in stereo mode because
the TV automatically outputs the type of sound being
broadcast (stereo or mono).
If the stereo sound is noisy, select Mono to reduce the
noise.
To listen to a second audio program (SAP)
Press _ or EMTER to select "SAP" in step 2 above. The TV speak-
ers will output the second audio program instead of normal audio.

Press MENU. Then press A or
V to select "Audio" menu, then
press _.

adjust the bass
sound.
Press 4 or I_ to
adjust the treble I
sound.

Press _ or _, to
obtain an equal sound level from both speakers.
After your desired setting, press MENU to return to the normal
screen.
