Applying Silent Tools to a shoulder milling operation in a valve
housing resulted in increased metal removal and improved surface
nish. Even with the increase in speed, depth of cut and spindle
speed, there were no vibration tendencies. The results are conclu-
sive: 149 % increase in productivity and return on investment after
nine weeks!
