Presetting Stations
You can preset up to 20 FM stations.
Manual Preset
1. Tune in the desired station.
2. Press the PROG button on the remote control, “PROG” and “P# EMPTY” will show
on the display and the preset number will ash.
3. Press the
buttons on the top of the CD player or on the remote control to
select the preset number. You can also input the number directly using 0-9 and
10+ buttons
PRESET Decreases the preset number by 1
PRESET Increases the preset number by 1
If the unit is unplugged or if a power failure occurs, the preset stations will not be erased.
The preset stations will be overwritten during auto preset.
4. Press the PROG button on the remote control to store the station. After 1 second,
the display returns to the broadcast frequency display.
5. Repeat above steps 1 to 3 for each station you want to store in the memory with a
preset number.
If you select more than 20, the preset number will be changed to “1” automatically.
Auto Preset
1. Press the INTRO/SCAN button on the remote control to auto search the FM
stations and automatically store in preset memory.
To change the FM Reception Mode
When you are tuned into a FM stereo broadcast, “ST” will be displayed and you can
hear stereo eects.
If a FM stereo broadcast is hard to receive or noisy, you can switch to MONO mode by
pressing the MODE button and the “ST” will not display. Reception will be improved,
but you will lose the stereo eect.
To restore the stereo eect, press the MODE button and the “ST” will be displayed if
the FM stereo station is being received.
