4.1 Intel® VT for Directed I/O Configuration
This screen provides functions for specifying the Intel® VT for Directed I/O configuration set-
tings.
4.1.1 Intel(R) VT-d
This function is used to enable the Intel® Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (Intel® VT-
d) functionality. Intel® VT-d supports remapping of direct memory access (DMA) transfers and
device generated interrupts on hardware level, which helps to improve isolation of I/O devices.
