SAFETY STATEMENTS & WARNINGS
CARING FOR YOUR CHIMINEA
Clean Regularly & Safely: Cleaning after each use is recommended. Never allow ash to accumulate in the body or the ue. Make
sure the re has completely died down and the metal is completely cool before removing ashes and cleaning the ue.
Avoid Accelerants & Plastic: Never use accelerants to start a re; this is dangerous and can damage your chiminea. Never use
plastic materials in or near this unit. Burning plastic releases toxic fumes & the residue is very di󰀩cult to remove from the unit.
Use on a Safe Surface: Always use chimineas on a smooth, non-combustible surface; do not use on a wood deck or other
combustible surfaces like dry grass, leaves, mulch, etc. Do not use chimineas near combustible structures such as vinyl or wood
siding. Take care never to drop your chiminea, as any breakage could cause serious damage and costly repairs.
Cover and Store: Cover and store in a dry location when not in use. If you only cover the chiminea, be sure it is not exposed to
water. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by exposure to weather conditions.
Extinguish: Let res die down gradually, do not use water to put out a re as this may cause the metal to crack as a result of the
sudden drop in temperature.
