(New York, New York) August 20, 2018 – Rokinon has announced its new AF 14mm F2.8 Full Frame Wide Angle
Lens for Nikon. It is Rokinon’s 8th auto focus lens and its rst AF lens designed specically for Nikon F mount
cameras. This new 14mm F2.8 AF lens is designed for high-resolution, well-corrected imagery with the most
advanced Nikon Full Frame image sensor cameras. It can also be used on APS-C Nikon models where it will
provide a 21mm equivalent focal length.
State of the art manufacturing techniques and an advanced optical design (15 Ultra Multi Coated elements in
10 groups including 2 Aspherical, 1 Extra-Low Dispersion, and 4 High Refractive Index) minimize aberrations,
control distortion and provide excellent resolution. The new Rokinon 14mm Lens is also more aordable than
others in its class and also provides a slightly wider angle of view of 116.6°.
The ergonomically designed aluminum alloy housing incorporates a M/AF switch that allows the choice of fast
and quiet autofocusing or full manual focus control. In addition, when in AF mode, a manual focus override
feature is available for ne tuning focus after the lens has autofocused. Additional features include weather
sealing, a rounded seven blade aperture for pleasing bokeh and star eects, a built-in lens hood, and a padded
lens pouch.
The new Rokinon AF 14mm F2.8 Full Frame Lens for Nikon F is Ideal for real estate interiors and exteriors,
astrophotography, landscapes, and travel. It is expected to be available in September with a street price of
only $799.00.
