1. Create a Passworded USER account
To be able to connect to your Computer using Remote Desktop you have to have a password set for your
User account. If you do not have a password set you have to create one. This also applies for any user who
should be able to connect to your computer via Remote Desktop.
Open Control Panel
 Click on the Windows start button.
 Select “Control Panel”.
Open User Accounts
 Click on the User Accounts and Family Safety.
Select Change password
 Click on the Change your Windows password.
