As soon the timing device is selected, DS-7 automatically sets the data acquisition hardware to external
clocking for receiving the sample frequency out of the DEWE-CLOCK. In addition, each measurement starts
synchronized with the PPS signal. The time information of the data le is taken out of the GPS-time or IRIG-
time and not from the local PC time anymore.
