Chapter 2 Installation
2.1 Before Installation
After installing OfficeServ Link V3 program, the following conditions should be met for
normal use.
☞ Computer system requirements
► OS - Windows NT Workstation / Server 4.0
- Windows 2000 Professional, Server, Windows 2003
- Windows XP Professional
◈ Recommended OS: Windows 2000 Professional or higher
► CPU - Pentium4 2 GHz or higher
► Hard disk - 200 MB or larger
◈ Recommended HDD: 500 MB or larger
► Memory - Memory with the minimum specification required for
the installed OS
◈ Recommended memory: 256 MB or larger. Extended according to the number of
switches interworked.
► LAN card - LAN card that accommodates over 100Mbps
► Network environment - 100Mbps network environment
☞ Requirements of Samsung key phone
► Proper switch software version that can process the CTI function
▬ OfficeServ-500/100/7200 : Ver 2.4x or higher
▬ OfficeServ-7400 : Ver 3.x or higher
Depending on the key phone switch type and in case of the same key phone
switch type, the function for connecting OfficeServ Link V3 is not properly
supported according to the switch program version.
To identify that the version of the switch purchased is the new version that
supports the OfficeServ Link V3 function, contact where you purchased the
phone.
