The detail descriptions of switch message monitor and SMDR / UCD message
monitor are introduced in the “message monitoring.”
☞ Password Option Setting
Information for the system operation can be included in monitoring information
for general SMDR / UCD messages. To limit the unauthorized access for such
information, this function can be set to provide monitoring information being
provided with a password only if it identically matches the designated password.
In case of being set to use a password, the password designated in each
monitoring program execution process should be entered to connect with
OfficeServ Link V3.
3.3.3 SMDR / UCD Sending Out Option
OfficeServ Link V3 program provides a function to send out two messages to the external
port not for SMDR / UCD message monitor, but for a separate professional SMDR or UCD
message process program.
☞ Function of Sending out to the TCP/IP port
The port information for sending out SMDR and UCD message can be modified.
SMDR and UCD message type provided to the TCP/IP sending-out port is provided
as the same message type provided by a switch. However, the embedded
monitoring program of OfficeServ Link V3 connected to the port is provided with
other types of message. The external program cannot access this port.
☞ Password Function Usage
When a password usage function is set, the external SMDR and UCD process
program should provide the designated password in a specific method after
connecting to the designated port of OfficeServ Link V3. If a password is not
provided or not corresponded, OfficeServ Link V3 does not provide the SMDR
and UCD information.
