Power off the monitor and PC. 2. Disconnect the power cable from the monitor. To avoid electric shock, be sure you disconnect the cable by gripping the plug and do not touch the cable with wet hands. 3. Wipe the monitor screen using a clean, soft, dry cloth.

2 Installing the Product 2-1 Package Contents • If any items are missing, contact your dealer. • Contact a local dealer to purchase optional items. • Unpack the product and check if all of the following contents have been included. • Store the packaging box in case you need to move the Product at a later stage.
2-2 Installing the Stand Before assembling the product, place the product down on a flat and stable surface so that the screen is facing downwards. Place a soft cloth over the table to protect the product and place the product onto the cloth so that the front of the product is facing downwards. Do not remove the stopper pin before installing the base. Hold the main body of the product with your hand as shown by the figure.
After the installation of the base, stand the monitor up as shown in the figure. 2-3 Removing the Stand Before installation, disassemble the product according to the following steps. Lift up the monitor stand to the maximum angle with your left hand, and remove the back decoration cover with your right hand, as shown in the figure. Remove the two screws( ). The stand can be detached after removing the screws. Remove the stand arm in the direction shown in the figure.

Since the shape and usage of the locking device may differ depending on the model and the manufacturer, refer to the User Manual supplied with the locking device for more information. To lock the product, follow these steps: 1. Wrap the Kensington lock cable around a large, stationary object such as a desk or chair. 2.
3 Using the product 3-1 What is a network monitor? • A network monitor can be used for the same purposes as a regular monitor. It also provides the functionalities of most computers, such as an Internet connection, creating documents, editing images, via a connection to the host PC over the LAN. In addition, it allows you to connect an external device (DSC, MP3, external storage media) to the USB port and play music, movies and games.
3-2 Plug & Play If you turn the power on after purchasing the product, a message regarding the optimal resolution setting appears on the screen. 3-3 Standard Signal Mode Table The LCD monitor has one optimal resolution for the best visual quality depending on the screen size due to the inherent characteristics of the panel, unlike for a CDT monitor. Therefore, the visual quality will be degraded if the optimal resolution is not set for the panel size. It is recommended setting the resolution to the optimal resolution of the product. If the signal from the PC is one of the following standard signal modes, the screen is set automatically.

4 Installing the Software 4-1 Using Windows Embedded Standard What is WES Client? An Microsoft Windows Embedded Standard (WES) client uses the Microsoft Windows Embedded Standard operating system. When an WES client is connected to a Citrix ICA server or another server that can provide the Microsoft RDP service, data for the keyboard, mouse, audio/video and display are transmitted through the network between the client and the server.
• The Client Log off, Restart and Shutdown take effect on the operations of the EWF(Enhanced Write Filter). To keep the changed system configuration, you must save a cache for the current system session into flash memory. Failing to do so will cause the changed configuration to be lost when the client is shutdown or restarted. (In the case of logging off, the configuration is remembered when loggin in again.) 6-2 Power Saving Function This product provides a power saving function that automatically turns the screen off when the product is not used for a predetermined period of time to reduce power consumption. If the product enters power saving mode, the power LED turns to a different color to indicate that the product is in power saving mode.
