Roaming Settings
Whenyouareoutsideyourhomenetworkarea,yourphonecanstillconnecttoothernetworksthat
yourprovidersupportsviaroaming.Theremaybeadditionalcostsforaccessingnetworkswhile
roaming,soyoumaywanttocontrolyourphone’sroamingbehaviorwithRoamingsettings.

Fromhome,tap Apps> Settings.

Tap More networks>Roaming.
3. Configureoptions:
l Roaming network:Selectaroamingdefault.ChooseHome only,toonlyconnecttothe
Sprintnetwork,orAutomatictoallowconnectionstoSprint’spartnernetworks,when
available.
l Roaming Settings:Chooseoptionsforroaming,includingVoiceandDataforDomestic
CDMAandInternationalCDMAnetworks,andDataforGSMnetworks(ifsupportedbyyour
phone).
l Roaming guard:Chooseoptionsfordisplayinganonscreenroamingnoticeforcertain
functions.EnableordisableroamingnoticesforVoiceandDataforDomesticCDMA,Voice,
DataandOutgoingtextmessageforInternationalCDMAnetworks,andVoice,Dataand
OutgoingtextmessageforGSMnetworks(ifsupportedbyyourphone).
NFC Settings
UseNFC(NearFieldCommunication)toshareinformationbetweenyourdeviceandanotherNFC
devicebytouchingthedevicestogether,typicallyback-to-back.
NFCisusedwithSBeamandAndroidBeam,andmustbeturnedontousethesefeatures.
Turn NFC On or Off
UseNFC(NearFieldCommunication)toshareinformationbetweenyourdeviceandanotherNFC-
capabledeviceorNFCtag,bytouchingthedevicestogether,typicallyback-to-back.Forexample,
youcanbeamWebpagesfromthebrowser,contactsfromContacts,andvideosfromYouTube.
Theappdetermineswhatisbeamed.
