can be installed onto the Internet or local networks within minutes.
Furthermore vivid and high quality video can be enjoyed by up to 100
simultaneous users. It also has 4.5MB of configurable flash memory, FTP
function for image archiving, and supports two way audio. And they can
be easily integrated into your current security systems. The advanced
MPEG-4 image compression technology provides clear pictures that are
up to 300% smaller than comparable JPEG images.
The following are the main features of the Samsung's network units.
They uses MPEG-4 or JPEG codec technology to allow high
compression rates and clear picture quality by allowing for high frame
rates to be transmitted and are designed for easy installation and set-up,
maintenance and repair. The products also transmit real-time video and
Bi-direction audio, allows for users to record and play using any viewer
on their PC. Motion Detection creates connection on an alarm, and
allows captured images to be sent through email or FTP.
Furthermore, they support NTSC and PAL cameras, and allow for
multiple video sizes or picture options for the applicable models.
Dual stream
Dual stream supports MPEG-4 and JPEG dual output for simultaneous
live monitoring and high resolution recording, which reduces bandwidth
demands for low bandwidth users and allows more information to be
transmitted over the network than single-streaming products.

Dynamic IP registration and DDNS support

SD memory card slot
The SNC-570, SND-560 are compatible with SD memory cards allowing
users to use a SD memory card as local storage to store all the events
that occurred, or used as a back up. This allows the user to playback all
the events using Samsung Network Manager even if the software
network recorder is not available.
Network protocol
A protocol is a set of rules or agreed upon guidelines for communication.
These protocols have been established by international standards bodies
and are used in almost all platforms and around the globe to ensure that
all devices on the Internet can communicate successfully. The iPOLiS
products support a wide variety of protocols : RTP/UDP, RTP/MULTICAST,
RTSP, HTTP, TCP/IP, FTP, SMTP, DHCP, DNS, DDNS.
PoE (Power over Ethernet) support
Since power is supplied through the LAN cables, there will be less
complicated cabling and the installation cost will be substantially reduced
(IEEE 802.3af).
SDK support
iPOLiS branded product lines provide SDK for the third-party developers
to integrate their software with Samsung Techwin IP Products.

iPOLiS network products support the CMS for integrated network
mangement. The Samsung Network Manager is a powerful centralized
management solution that monitors multiple sites with video, audio and
alarm signals over the network. It can monitor up to 128 channels from
anywhere in the world at the same time. The users can check the event
with more ease via enhanced event/alarm functions such as List, Map,
Beeper, Live Image, and Tree modes. It also supports enhanced map
viewer for smart network monitoring and convenient search by
thumbnail, event, or text category.
