Adjusting the monitoring direction for the camera Panning Tilting ❖ Adjusting the monitoring direction You can adjust the camera direction only when the camera is fixed on the ceiling. Then, turning the camera to the left or right is referred to as “Panning”, while tilting the angle is “Tilting”. For panning, the panning limit is 220° for the clockwise, and 100° for the counterclockwise, a total of 255° enabled; further rotation is stopped by the stopper.

PORT RANGE FORWARD (PORT MAPPING) SETUP If you have installed an IP router with a camera connected, you must set the port range forwarding on the IP router so that a remote PC can access the camera in it. ● NETWORK CONNECTION AND SETUP Manual Port Range Forwarding 1. From the Setup menu of the IP router, select . For setting the port range forward for a third-party IP router, refer to the user guide of that IP router. 2.

J If you don't set properly the TCP 943 port of the router, you cannot get any video stream from the web page of the camera. y TCP 943 port is a port for the Silverlight policy server of a camera.

To check the DDNS address Once you register a dynamic IP-based device with the DDNS server, you can easily check the changed IP when you try to access the device. To add the IP address to the server, visit www.samsungipolis.com and register your device, and set the DDNS option to before providing the host name for the DDNS server. What is GOP size? GOP (Group of Pictures) is a set of video frames for MPEG4 and H.264 format compression, indicating a collection of frames from the initial I-Frame (key frame) to the next I-Frame. GOP consists of 2 kinds of frames: I-Frame and P-Frame. I-Frame is the basic frame for the compression, also known as Key Frame, which contains one complete image data. P-Frame contains only the data that has changed from the preceding I-Frame. You can set between 1 and 15 for the MPEG4 and H.264 CODEC.
