Multi Playback (using the PAL60 System)

"I' This Camcorder can convert an NTSC tape recorded rn the SP mode to the PAL60" format

allowing you to view it on a PAL TV which has Verbcal sync adjustment circuitry for 60Hz

1 Set POWER switch to PLAYER mode

2 Insert an NTSC tape you want to see

3 Press MENU ON/OFF button then the MENU hst w41appear

4 Turn the UP/DOWN d_a4 to PAL CONV OFF"

5 Press ENTER then it will change to PAL CONV PAL60"

• Now you can see the p_cture by pressing the PLAY button

6 Press MENU ON/OFF button to end setting

Notes 1 Th_s Camcorder can not record using the PAL60" system

2 When an NTSC tape is being played back the p_cture on the PAL monitor screen may shr_nk in

the Verbcal direction

3 If the s_gnar recorded on the tape is in bad condltron the PAL6O playback system may ma4functlon

4 A PAL recorded tape can not be played back on this camcorder
