Installation ❚ Before installation THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND DURING INSTALLATION AND USE • Do not disassemble the camera on your own. • Always be careful when handling the camera. Do not strike the camera by your fists or shake it. Please be careful not to be careless when storing and operating it. • Do not place or operate the camera in any wet environment such as rain or wet surfaces. •D o not clean the camera with rough sandpaper. Please always use a dry cloth when cleaning it.

3. Connect the Power Adapter to the Power Cable of the camera. 4. Adjust the switch on the Power Adapter to the proper voltage. Then, connect the Power Adapter's plug to the Power Connector. ❚ Separately sold products for installation Depending on the installation site, it may be convenient to use one of the following products. 1. WALL MOUNT ADAPTOR (SADT-103WM) This adaptor is used for installing the SMARTDOME(SCC-C7433(P)/�������������������� C7435(P)������������ ) camera on an outdoor wall. ENG -C7433_7435-Eng.
2. CEILING MOUNT ADAPTOR (SADT-100CM) This adaptor is used for installing the SMARTDOME(SCC-C7433(P)/������������������ C7435(P)���������� ) for the SmartDome camera to a concrete ceiling. 3. POLE MOUNT ADAPTOR (SADT-100PM) This adaptor is used for installing the WALL MOUNT ADAPTOR (SADT-103WM) to a pole that is over 8 cm (2.76 in.) in diameter. 21 -C7433_7435-Eng.
4. CORNER MOUNT ADAPTOR (SADT-110CM) This adaptor is used for installing the WALL MOUNT ADAPTOR (SADT-103WM) to the edge of wall. ENG -C7433_7435-Eng.
❚ Installation precautions 1. Make sure that the installation site can sufficiently support a minimum of four times the net weight of the SCC-��������������������������������������������������������� C7433���������������������������������������������������� (P)/������������������������������������������������ C7435������������������������������������������� (P) SmartDome camera and other accessories. 2. Keep persons away from the installation area, as there is a risk of falling objects.
2. Prepare the Holder Housing part. Refer to the wiring diagram below to connect the external cables and the cables of the Holder Housing. A. Remove one of the connectors connected to the cable end of the Holder Housing. B. Peel off the coating of the cable and connect it to the external cable using soldering/ (See page 17 in the installation guide to Connect the cables.) C. Use an insulation tape to wrap up the soldering portion of two cables. D. Connect the Connector to the Holder Housing again. E.
3. Push the connected cables into the inside of the Rod Coupling. At the same time, insert the Holder Housing into the Rod Coupling while fitting the Guide of the Holder Housing into the Guide Hole of the Rod Coupling. Then, turn the Holder Housing clockwise by approximately 18 degrees. Finally, secure the Holder Housing to the Rod Coupling using the 3 Screws (M4xL8, fitting). - Install the Holder Housing so that the FRONT label faces the front of the camera to be installed.
4. Hook up the Safety Wire Ring at the end of the Safety Wire on the Housing to the Safe Wire Rack of the Holder Housing. Note During installation or detachment, to avoid safety accident and ‘HOUSING’ damage due to the fall, make sure the safety tis secured to the ‘HOLDER HOUSING’. ENG -C7433_7435-Eng.
5. Align the SAMSUNG logo on the Housing and the FRONT label of the Holder Housing so that they face the same direction, and insert the 3 Guides of the Housing into the Guide Hole of the Holder Housing. Turn the Housing counter clockwise by approximately 20 degrees. Finally, fasten the 3 screws (M4xL10). - Make sure not to let the Gasket loose from the Housing. (If the Gasket is loose, the product is not properly waterproof.
6. Couple the Cover Front with the Cover Rear. In th next step, align the Arrow mark on the Cover Rear to face the START label on the Housing. Install these two parts into the Housing while aligning the Guide Hole of these parts with the Guide of the Holder Housing. Finally, turn these two parts so that the arrow mark on the Cover Rear is aligned with the LOCK label of the Housing. Tighten up the screw (M4xL8, fitting) as shown in the figure.
※ Follow the steps below to fasten the SMARTDOME (SCC-C7433(P)/������������������� C7435(P)����������� ) with the Wall Mount Adaptor (SADT-103WM). A. Refer to the Installation Guide of the Wall Mount Adaptor (SADT-103WM) to secure the Holder Housing to the Wall Mount Adaptor as shown in PIC 1. B. DAY... If you press the ENTER when the DAY… submenu is selected, the corresponding screen appears. You can set the values for [C-GAIN] when the DAY… submenu is selected. You can set the values for [AGC COLOR] and [AGC DETAIL] while the AGC menu is selected. (BW) BURST RET (COLOR) OFF WHITE BAL RET ATW2 Even in night mode, you can see color images in bright illumination. Therefore you can select any of [COLOR…] and [BW…]. In case of [COLOR…], you have to set the color temperature for white balance. You can also specify the settings for red and blue colors on your own. In case of [BW...], the burst signals are output with the BW Composite Video signals when the BURST is set to [ON]. And no burst signals are output when the BURST is set to [OFF].
(AUTO) LEVEL DAY NIGHT NIGHT DAY RET ( 0) I-----2S 5S ENG For this function, you can specify the level for each conversion between Day and Night. Note When the DAY/NIGHT is set to [AUTO...], the AGC is displayed with “---“ so you cannot change its setting. MOTION DET The MOTION DET menu is used to configure the motion detection related settings. If you press the ENTER when [ON…] is selected in the MOTION DET menu, the corresponding screen appears.
Those 3 types are like the following: 1. Window Type The selected area is displayed with a box. The motion can be detected for the area only. You can manually set the motion detection area. You can use the UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT Setup switch to set the size. To move to POSITION, press the switch. After setting the position using the UP/DOWN/ LEFT/RIGHT Setup switch, press the Setup switch to move to the upper menu. To set the size and position for AREA, select any of 0, 1, 2, and 3.
3. B lock Type The screen displays with small blocks. When a motion is detected in the selected blocks, the small blocks are displayed on the screen. [PRESET] : The whole screen becomes the motion detection area. [USER...] : You can manually set the motion detection area. Use the UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT, ENTER to set the area. To erase the selected block, press the ENTER. ENG To select [RET], press UP key on the top block or press DOWN key on the bottom block and then press ENTER key to return a upper menu.
ZOOM SPEED In the ZOOM SPEED, menu you can select the speed of the ZOOM Key (Tele/Wide). ❚ Video set IRIS There is a function to automatically adjust IRIS to the incoming light level. Owing to this function, you may set up the brightness level yourself. The ALC(Auto Light Control) menu allows you for video output level setup. The WDR(Wide Dynamic Range) menu allows you for setting up the level of WDR. Note ENG SCC-C7433(P) does not support for WDR function. ALC Choose the ALC of the IRIS item and press the ENTER and set the submenu to the Video Output level and BLC will be shown.

( 0) ---- I---- For items in the BLC menu, the user can set the area and location of the BLC area by pressing ENTER key after put the cursor on [USER…] using the Left, Right key. For AREA items, you can use the Up, Down, Left, Right key to designate the AREA, and then press the ENTER key. WHITE BAL Lights are generally denoted as color temperatures and expressed in Kelvin (K) units. The general light color temperatures are shown below.
- MANU : If WHITE BAL menu is set to MANU mode, the user can set the white Balance considering the current illumination. Select MANU menu and press the ENTER, the sub screen where you can select Manual White Balance will be shown. Use the left/right keys to select 3200K, 5600K or OFF(USER) mode in the PRESET menu. - 3200K : Set color temperature to 3200K - 5600K : Set color temperature to 5600K - USER : Choose out a proper value from the RED and BLUE graph for color and temperature setup.

DNR DNR(Digital Noise Reduction) function enables the picture to be reduced noise. C-LEVEL It is used to set the levels for the Burst signal and the entire color signal of the video signal. POSI/NEGA It is used to output as it is, or mirror the video brightness signal. POSITION SET From “POSITION SET...” press the ENTER key to get into the PAN/TILT, FOCUS/ZOOM SET screen to set the PAN/TILT location and FOCUS/ZOOM condition then press the ENTER key to return to a upper menu. PRESET ID This is the ID set up function for each PRESET. It can be set up to 12 characters using the left, right, up, and down keys. The ID location can be set in the submenu of “LOCATION...” ENG VIDEO SET This is the screen setting function for each PRESET.
❚ Zone set ■ The ZONE SET menu includes the setup of PRIVACY ZONE, ZONE DIR SET, and ZONE AREA SET. ** MAIN MENU ** (ZONE SET) CAMERA SET... VIDEO SET... PRESET... ZONE SET... AUTO SET... Note ※ For the safer privacy protection, select about 10 % more than the actual area to hide when you set up the PRIVACY ZONE area. ※ The mosaic of the recorded images is set to be the PRIVACY ZONE. The mosaic of the recorded images can not be recovered after recording.
