The SCC-641 is the first in series of remote controllable pan-tilt-zoom cameras from Samsung Electronics. This camera
has 480 TV lines of resolution with a minimum scene illumination of 0.02 lux, making it optimal for low light conditions.
It has a built-in 22X optical and 10X digital zoom lens giving it an enhanced total zoom capability of 220X with a focal
length of 3.9 to 79.2mm. Its superior white balance circuitry and excellent back light compensation produces crisp and
clear high resolution images.
One important feature that raises its position over the competition is the capability of programming each preset not
only with camera position and focus, but also video settings. This feature enables iris control, shutter speed, negative
image and all other video controls to be unique for each preset.
Remote control and programming is accomplished via RS-485 (full or half duplex), which allows all cameras in the
Samsung Electronics IC Series to be configured and controlled. Additional features include motion detection, alarming
inputs/outputs, auto-flip, guard tour, programmable patterns and up to 128 presets.
