• Movie edit : You can getthe still image movie dip. narration,music files together
in a movie clip.
• Please check thefollowing if the USBconnection malfunctions.
USBcable is notconnected or it is notthe supplied USB cabIe.
Connect the supplied USBcabIe.
The camera isnot recognised by your PC.
Sometimes, the camera mayappear under[Unknown Devices] in
DeviceManager.
Installthe camera driver correctly.
Turn off the camera, remove the USB cabIe,plug in the USB cable
again, and then turn on the camera.
- Movie dip edit functions are listed below.
(i) Editmenu : You can select the following menus.
[Add Media] : You can add other media elementsto a movie.
[Edit Clip] : You can change the brightness, contrast, colourand saturation.
[Effects] : You can insert an effect.
[Set Text] : You can insert texts.
[Narrate] : You can insert a narration.
[Produce] : You can save the edited muki mediaas anew ritename.
You can select AVt, Windows media (wmv), Windows media
(asf) and movie clip for this camera (avi, MPEG-4) ritetypes.
¢2)Frame display window : You can insertmulti mediain this window.
÷ Some movieclips that were compressed with a codec that isnot compatible with
the Digimax Mastercan't play back in the Digimax Master.
÷ Refer tothe [Help] menu in Digimax Master for further information.
There isan unexpected errorduring file transfer.
Turn the camera power off and on again. Transferthe file again.
When usingthe USB hub.
There maybe aproblem in connectingthe camera to the PCthrough
the USB hub if the PC and the hub are notcompetible. Wherever
possible, connect the camera to the PC directly.
Are other USB cables connected to the PC?
..... _ The camera may malfunctionwhen it isconnected to the PC at the
same time as another USB cable. In this case, disconnect theother
USBcable, and connect only one USBcabIe to the camera.
