Before Using the Product Cleaning Cleaning Exercise care when cleaning as the panel and exterior of advanced LCDs are easily scratched. Take the following steps when cleaning. 1. Power off the monitor and computer. 2. Disconnect the power cable from the monitor. Hold the power cable by the plug and do not touch the cable with wet hands. Otherwise, an electric shock may result. 3. Wipe the monitor screen using a clean, soft and dry cloth.

Installation 1.3.1 Attaching the cradle Before assembling the product, place the product down on a flat and stable surface so that the screen is facing downwards. Place a soft cloth over the table to protect the product and place the product onto the cloth so that the front of the product is facing downwards. Hold the main body of the product with your hand as shown by the figure. Turn the connecting screw at the bottom of the stand fully so that it is completely fixed.

2 2.1 Using "MHL(Mobile High-Definition Link)" MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) This feature allows you to enjoy videos and photos (imported from a connected mobile device that supports MHL) on the screen of the product. MHL z To use the MHL function, you need an MHL-certified mobile device. You can check if your mobile device is MHL certified on the device manufacturer's website. To find a list of MHL-certified devices, visit the official MHL website (http://www.mhlconsortium.org).
2 Using "MHL(Mobile High-Definition Link)" 2.1.1 Using "MHL" 1 Connect the USB port on the mobile device to the [HDMI IN / MHL] port on the product using the MHL cable. HDMI IN / MHL DC 14V 2 HDMI IN/MHL RGB IN AUDIO OUT z When the MHL cable is used, [HDMI IN / MHL] is the only port on the product that supports the MHL function. z A mobile device should be purchased separately. To display the MHL screen, deactivate sleep mode. MHL device is in sleep mode. When the mobile device is not connected or does not support MHL z When the mobile device is not connected to the product or does not support the MHL function, the following message will appear.

AUDIO OUT DC 14V 1 HDMI IN/MHL RGB IN AUDIO OUT Connect an audio output device such as headphones or speakers to [AUDIO OUT] on the product. This product won't make any sound when only the HDMI cable is connected without a speaker connected.

Select a language on the product and change the resolution on your PC to the optimum setting. You can activate either Dynamic, Standard, Movie or Custom.

Appendix Terminology OSD (On Screen Display) On screen display (OSD) allows you to customize on-screen settings to optimize the picture quality as required. You can change the screen brightness, tint, size and many other settings using menus displayed on the screen. Gamma The Gamma menu adjusts the grey scale that represents middle tones on the screen. Adjusting the brightness brightens the whole screen, but adjusting Gamma only brightens the medium brightness.
Appendix Resolution Resolution is the number of horizontal pixels and vertical pixels that form a screen. It represents the level of display detail.
