Contacts
Settings: Displays options for viewing contacts,
including whether to show only contacts with
phone numbers and whether to list or display by
first name or last name. There is also an option to
select how contacts are transferred to another
device, either individually or as a full group.
Add a Contact
You can add contacts directly from the Contacts
application. Enter details such as name, phone
number(s), email address, mailing address, and more.
1. Press and tap Contacts to display the
Contacts list.
2. Tap (at the top of the screen).
3. Tap a destination type (Phone, Google, or Microsoft
Exchange ActiveSync). The Create contact screen
displays.
4. Tap the picture icon to assign a picture to this
entry. There are three selections:
Picture: Retrieves a stored image from your
Gallery or from My files folder and assigns it to
this entry. Tap an image to assign the image to
the contact, then tap
Done.
Take picture: Use the camera to take a new
picture and assign it to this entry, then tap
Save
After you take a picture, you are prompted to crop
the picture before assigning it to the contact.
When complete, tap
Done.
Remove: Although not an option with a new entry,
deletes any previously assigned image in an
existing contact entry.
5. Tap the Name field and use the onscreen keyboard
to enter the full name.

Tap to the right of the
Name field to enter
additional name fields.
6. Tap the Phone number field. The number keypad
displays.
7. Tap the Mobile icon to change the phone type.
Selections are:
Mobile, Home, Work, Work Fax,
Home Fax, Pager, Other, Custom, or Callback.
Note: You must establish a Google or Exchange ActiveSync
account to select a destination.
