STORING FOOD
The Samsung Side-By-Side Refrigerator has been designed to provide you with maximum
spacesaving features and functions. Here are some of the customized compartments we have
created to keep your food fresher, longer. Remember, in order to prevent odor penetration to the
ice, stored food should be wrapped securely and as airtight as possible.
Because these following operating instructions cover various models, your
refrigerator may differ those described in this manual.
For more space, you can store food with GUARD FRE-UPP instead
of the ice bucket (

). If you remove the ice bucket, ICE OFF will blink
on the display panel.
For RSG5P & RSG5U models,
To get more space, you can remove the freezer upper drawer since it
does not affect thermal and mechanical charicteristics.
For RSG5F & RSG5D models,
To get more space, you can remove the freezer upper and
lower drawers since it does not affect thermal and mechanical
charicteristics. But, put the “Shelf Fre Bottom” on the bottom of
the freezer compartment.
A declared storage volume of frozen food storage compartment is
calculated with the drawer(s) removed.
