2. Nsc the channel up and down, [NPUT, ANT*CAB, or number buttons, or component buttons
that have been auto tuned, to change the P[P channd.
3. To change the program in the main picture window, press CH CTRL. Then use any ot the
above mentioned buttons. To go back and torth between controlling the P[P window and the
nmin picture, press the CH CTRL button.

PIP Problems?
- [_ vou are channd surfing in lbe main window and PiP disappears, you may have luned "to a
digital channd. To view P[P and the main picture, make sure that both the main and PIP
channds are analog inputs, or signak Continue changing the dmnnd until vou find an analog
(NTSC _brnmt) channel. The P[P window will reappear.
The message "PIP Not Viewable" in the channel banner lets you know that PIP is not
available on this channel and you should tune to another channel
[_vou press PX) and the PiP window is gray, you may have activated the Parental Cont,o]
[bature and the program exceeds the rating limits you set. For in_brmation on removing limits,
see the section 'Parental Controls."

Emergency Alert System (EAS)
The EAS works only it you have a digital cabk' card c(>nncctcd lo lhc Cabk'CARI) sbt on the back
of the TV. Your cable company intbm_s you of emergency alert information related to your state or
beat-fever emergencies, such as Flash Flood \\.'amings, Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, and
Tornado Watches. When vour TV receives a state or [ocaMevd eme,gency, a message is disptayed
that lasts approximatdy 2 mimltes, but can be repeated it necessary. Dming this time, you can't
dear the intonnation being displayed. [n the rare event that there is an nationaMevel emergency,
vour TV wouk[ tune to a channel broadcasting the emergency int_rmation.
