Children 8 and Older. Programming generally considered acceptable for chiktren 8 years and over
lo walcb on lheir own. Violence guiddines: violence will not be portrayed as the preff.rred,
acceptable, or only way to resolve contlict or encourage chiktren to imitate dangerous acts which
they may see on tdevision. Any realistic depictions o_violence will be in_]equent, discreet, o_ low
intensity and will show the consequences o[ the acts. Other content guidelines: there will be no
profanity, nudity or sexual content.
C (Children.) Programming intended }i)r chik[ren under age 8. Violence guidelines: careful attention
is paid lo lbemes which c()uld threaten chik[ren s sense of security and well being. Theu, will be no
realistic scenes o_ viole_ace. Depictions of aggressive behavior \,,i[[ be in_)equent and limited to
portrayab that are clearly imaginau, comedic or unrealistic in nature. Other content guidelines:
