โโ Memorizing channels Your TV memorizes channels and adds the memorized channels to the Channel List with the Auto Program function. Before your TV can memorize channels, you must specify the signal source, either Air or Cable. If you select cable, when you start Auto Program, you must also specify the cable system type, STD, HRC, or IRC. If you donโt know your cable system type, contact your local cable company for the information. Most cable companies use STD.
โ โ Auto Program OO MENUm โ Broadcasting โ Auto Program โ ENTERE Scans for channels automatically and stores them in the TVโs memory. To start Auto Program, follow these steps: 1. Select Auto Program, and then press ENTERE. 2. Press the ENTERE button to select Start. 3. Select Both, Air, or Cable by highlighting, and then pressing ENTERE.
. If you selected Cable, you must specify your cable systems. First, select Digital Cable System, and then press ENTERE. 5. Select STD, HRC, or IRC, and then press ENTERE. 6. Repeat for Analog Cable System. 7. Select Scan, and then press ENTERE. Auto Program starts. NN After all the available channels are stored, Auto Program removes scrambled โ channels. When done, the Auto Program menu then reappears. This process can take up to 30 minutes.
How to Stop Auto Programming 1. Press the ENTERE button to select Stop. 2. A message will ask Stop Auto Program? Select Yes by pressing the โ or โบ button. โ 3. Press the ENTERE button. NN If you select Change Settings, the antenna setting screen appears. You can re-set the antenna settings and start channel search again. NN Select Scan Again, and then press the ENTERE button to restart channel search.
โ โ Antenna OO MENUm โ Broadcasting โ Antenna โ ENTERE To change the source of your TV signal, follow these steps: 1. Select Antenna, and then press ENTERE. 2. Select the source of your TV signal, Air or Cable. NN Selecting Air or Cable also changes the actual signal input from Air to Cable or Cable to Air.
โโ Using the Channel menu โ โ Channel List OO MENU โ Broadcasting โ Channel List โ ENTERE โ The Channel List contains the channels your TV displays (Added channels) when you press the channel button on your remote. On the Channel List screen, you can also view channel information, Added Ch., and Favorites 1-5. Press the โบ(Mode) button to change the channel mode. NN When you press the CH LIST button, the Channel List screen is displayed at โถ once.

โ โ Schedule Manager OO MENUm โ Broadcasting โ Schedule Manager โ ENTERE You can schedule a channel to be displayed automatically at a selected time. In addition, you can view, modify, or delete the scheduled viewing information. NN You must set the current time first using the Time โ Clock function in the System menu to use this function. โ 1. Select Schedule on the Schedule Manager screen, and then press the ENTERE button. The Schedule Viewing menu appears. 2.
โโ Repeat: Select Once, Manual, Sat~Sun, Mon~Fri or Everyday. If you select Manual, you can set the day you want. NN A check (c) mark indicates a day you selected. โโ Date: You can set a desired date. NN Date is available only when you select Once in Repeat. โโ Start Time: You can set the start time you want. NN If you want to edit or cancel a scheduled viewing, select the scheduled โ viewing on Schedule Manager. Then, press the ENTERE button and select Edit or Remove.

Deleting a channel from the Channel List 1 โ Go to Edit Channel screen. 2. Press the โฒ/โผ buttons to select a channel, and then press the ENTERE button. The (c) mark indicates the channel youโve selected. NN You can select more than one channel. NN Press ENTERE button again to deselect the channel. 3. Press the { (Delete) button.
Adding a channel to the Channel List 1. On the Edit Channel screen, press the TOOLS button, and then select Category. โ 2. Select All and press the OK button. The All Channel List appears. NN Your TV will display all channels, including channels you deleted from the Channel List, in the All Channel List. NN A gray-colored channel indicates the channel has been deleted from the Channel List. 3. Select a deleted channel, and then press the { (Add) button.
NN Using the colored and function buttons with the Edit Channel. โโ { Yellow (Delete / Add) โโ Delete: Deletes a channel from the channel list. โโ Add: Adds a deleted channel. Select All, Added Ch., Recently Viewed, or Mostly Viewed. The channel mode you select is displayed. โโ Edit Favorites: Go to Edit Favorites screen directly. โโ Rename Channel (analog channels only): Lets you assign a name of โ up to five characters to a channel.

Choose a specific favorite list among Favorites 1-5 using the b (Change Fav.) button, and then press the { (Add) button.
Deleting a channel from the Favorites 1-5 1. On the Edit Favorites screen, select a favorite list using b (Change Fav.) button. 2. Move to favorite list, and then select the channel you want to delete. โ 3. Press the { (Delete) button. The selected channel is deleted from Favorites 1-5. NN If you want to change the favorite channel order, press the a (Change order) button and change the order using the โฒ/โผ buttons.

โโ Blocking Programs โ โ Program Rating Lock OO MENUm โ Broadcasting โ Program Rating Lock โ ENTERE Prevent unauthorized users, such as children, from watching unsuitable programs. Access blocked programs when you enter the default or a user defined 4-digit PIN code. โ NN The PIN input screen appears before the setup screen appears. NN Enter a 4-digit PIN. The default PIN is 0-0-0-0. Change the PIN using the Change PIN option.
TV Rating: Lets you block TV programs based on their ratings. This function allows you to control which TV programs your children can watch. TV Rating displays a grid with locks.
Similarly, if you click TV-G under ALL, then all the categories in the young adult group will be blocked (TV-G, TV-PG, TV-14 and TV-MA). The subratings (D, L, S, V) work similarly. So, if you block the L sub-rating in TVPG, then the L sub-ratings in TV-14 and TV-MA will automatically be blocked. NN To unblock a category, click the lock. To unblock all the categories in a row, click the lock under ALL. NN To watch a blocked program, you must enter the Security code when โ requested.
Movie Rating (MPAA): You can block movies based on their MPAA rating. The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) has implemented a rating system that provides parents or guardians with advanced information on which films are appropriate for children. Movie Rating (MPAA) displays a column with locks and the following ratings categories: โโ G: General audience (no restrictions). / PG: Parental guidance suggested. โ / PG-13: Parents strongly cautioned. / R: Restricted.
To block certain content, you select a lock, and press ENTERE (That is, you โclick itโ.). For example, click the X lock and you block all X-rated movies. The rating categories are also grouped so that clicking one category blocks all the categories a parent would block along with it. For example, if you block the PG-13 category, then R, NC-17 and X will automatically be blocked also. NN To unblock a category, click the lock.
Canadian English Rating: You can block TV programs based on their Canadian English rating. Canadian English Rating displays a column with locks and the following ratings categories: โโ C: Programming intended for children under age 8. / C8+: Programming โ generally considered acceptable for children 8 years and over to watch on their own. / G: General programming, suitable for all audiences. / PG: Parental Guidance.

Canadian French Rating: You can block TV programs based on their French Canadian rating. Canadian French Rating displays a column with locks and the following ratings categories: โโ G: General / 8 ans+: Programming generally considered acceptable for โ children 8 years and over to watch on their own. / 13 ans+: Programming may not be suitable for children under the age of 13. / 16 ans+: Programming is not suitable for children under the age of 16. / 18 ans+: Programming restricted to adults.

Downloadable U.S. Rating: Parental restriction information you can use while watching DTV channels. NN NOTE โโ If information is not downloaded from the broadcasting station, the โ Downloadable U.S. Rating menu is deactivated. โโ Parental restriction information is automatically downloaded while you watch DTV channels. It may take several seconds. โโ The Downloadable U.S. Rating menu is available for use after information is downloaded from the broadcasting station.
โโ Parental restriction levels differ depending on the broadcasting โ station. The default menu name and Downloadable U.S. Rating change depending on the downloaded information. โโ Even if you set the on-screen display to another language, the Downloadable U.S. Rating menu will appear in English only. โโ Blocking one rating level will automatically block other categories that deal with more sensitive material. โโ The rating titles (For example: Humor Level, etc.
โโ Other Features โ โ Channel Settings OO MENUm โ Broadcasting โ Channel Settings โ ENTERE โโ Fine Tune (analog channels only) โ If the reception is clear, you do not have to fine tune the channel. This is done automatically during the search and store operation. If the signal is weak or distorted, fine tune the channel manually. NN Fine tuned channels that have been saved are marked with an asterisk โ*โ on the right-hand side of the channel number in the channel banner.
โโ Clear Scrambled Channel This function filters out scrambled channels after Auto Program is completed. This process may take up to 20~30 minutes. How to Stop the Clear Scrambled Channels Function 1. Press the ENTERE button to select Stop. 2. Press the l button to select Yes. Press the ENTERE button. NN This function is only available in Cable mode. 3.
โ โ Audio Options OO MENUm โ Broadcasting โ Audio Options โ ENTERE โโ Preferred Language (digital channels only) Use the โฒ/โผ buttons to select a language, and then press ENTERE. Digital-TV broadcasts can simultaneously transmit many audio tracks (for example, simultaneous translations of the program into foreign languages). โ NN You can only select a language from among the ones being broadcast.
โโ Multi-Track Sound t (analog channels only) Select an option using the โฒ/โผ buttons, and then press ENTERE. Mono: Choose for channels that are broadcasting in mono or if you are having difficulty receiving a stereo signal. Stereo: Choose for channels that are broadcasting in stereo. SAP: Choose to listen to the Separate Audio Program, which is usually a foreign-language translation. โ NN Depending on the program being broadcast, you can listen to Mono, Stereo, or SAP.
โโ Visual Impaired (digital channels only) Adds a verbal description to the main audio to help the visually impaired.
โ โ Caption t (On-Screen Text Messages) OO MENUm โ Broadcasting โ Caption โ ENTERE โโ Caption: You can turn the caption function on or off. If captions are not available, they will not be displayed on the screen. NN The Caption feature does not work with devices connected to the TV through the Component or HDMI input jacks. โ โโ Caption Mode: You can select the desired caption mode. NN The availability of captions depends on the program being broadcasted.
Default / Service1~Service6 / CC1~CC4 / Text1~Text4: (digital channels only) The Digital Captions function works with digital channels. NN Service1~6 may not be available in digital caption mode depending on the broadcast. โโ Digital Caption Options: (digital channels only) Size: Options include Default, Small, Standard and Large. Font Style: Options include Default and Styles 0 to 7. โ Font Color: You can change the color of the letters.
Background Color: You can change the background color of the caption. Options include Default, White, Black, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Magenta, and Cyan. Font Opacity: This adjusts the opacity of text. Options include Default, Transparent, Translucent, Solid, and Flashing. Background Opacity: This adjusts the opacity of the caption background. Options include Default, Transparent, Translucent, Solid, and Flashing.
NN NOTE โโ Digital Caption Options are available only when you can select โโ โโ โโ โโ Default and Service1 ~ Service6 in Caption Mode. The availability of captions depends on the program being broadcast. The Default setting follows the standards set by the broadcaster. You cannot set the Foreground and Background to the same color. You cannot set both the Font Opacity and the Background Opacity to Transparent.
โโ Changing the Preset Picture Mode โ โ Picture Mode t OO MENUm โ Picture โ Picture Mode โ ENTERE Picture modes apply preset adjustments to the picture. Select a mode using the โฒ/โผ buttons, and then press ENTERE. NN When the TV is connected to a PC, you can only select Entertain and โ Standard. โโ โโ โโ โโ โโ Dynamic: Suitable for a bright room. Standard: Suitable for a normal room environment. Natural for LED TV : Provides a display that is comfortable to the eye.
โโ Adjusting Picture Settings โ โ Backlight for LED TV / Cell Light for PDP TV / Contrast / Brightness / Sharpness / Color / Tint (G/R) OO MENUm โ Picture โ Cell Light โ ENTERE Your television has several options for adjusting picture quality. Select an option using the โฒ/โผ/โ/โบ buttons, and then press ENTERE. โ NN NOTE โโ When you make changes to Backlight / Cell Light for PDP TV , Contrast, Brightness, Sharpness, Color or Tint (G/R), the OSD will be adjusted accordingly.
โโ When the TV is connected to a PC, you can only make changes to Backlight for LED TV / Cell Light for PDP TV , Contrast, Brightness, and Sharpness. โโ You can adjust and store settings for each external device connected to the TV. โโ Lowering picture brightness reduces power consumption.
โ โ Picture Size t OO MENUm โ Picture โ Picture Size โ ENTERE Picture Size provides various picture size and aspect ratio options. Select an option using the โฒ/โผ/โ/โบ buttons, and then press ENTERE. โโ Picture Size: If you have a cable box or satellite receiver, it may have its own set of screen sizes as well. However, we highly recommend you use your TVโs 16:9 mode most of the time. 16:9: Sets the picture to 16:9 wide screen mode. โ Zoom1: Magnifies the picture moderately. Cuts off the top and sides.
4:3: Sets the picture to 4:3 mode. For analog TV programs. NN Do not set your TV to 4:3 format for a long time. The borders displayed on the left and right, or top and bottom of the screen may cause image retention (screen burn) which is not covered by the warranty. Screen Fit: When your TV inputs HDMI (720p / 1080i / 1080p) or Component (1080i / 1080p) signals, displays the full image without any cut-off. โ Smart View 1 for LED TV : Reduces the original screen by 50%.
โโ Position: Adjusts the picture position. Position is only available if Picture Size is set to Zoom1, Zoom2, Wide Fit, or Screen Fit. NN To use the Position function after selecting Zoom1, Zoom2 or Wide Fit, follow these steps: 1. Select Position, and then press the ENTERE button. 2. Select the Position button, and then press ENTERE. 3. Press the โฒ/โผ buttons to move the picture up or down. โ 4. Press the ENTERE button.
NN To use the Position function after selecting Screen Fit when connected to an HDMI (1080i/1080p) or Component (1080i/1080p) source, follow these steps: 1. Select Position, and then press the ENTERE button. 2. Select the Position button, and then press ENTERE. 3. Press the โฒ/โผ/โ/โบ buttons to move the picture. โ 4. Press the ENTERE button. NN If you want to reset the pictures to its original position, select Reset in the Position screen, and then press ENTERE.
NN The picture size can vary depending on the input resolution when you play content using Videos in Media Play. NN HD (High Definition) is: 16:9 - 1080i/1080p (1920x1080) or 720p (1280x720) NN You can adjust and store settings for each external device you have connected to an input on the TV.
โ โ PIP OO MENUm โ Picture โ PIP โ ENTERE You can watch a program whose signal has passed through the TVโs tuner and watch one external video source simultaneously. For example, if you have a cable box connected to the Cable In jack, you can use PIP to watch programs from the cable box and watch a movie from a Blu-ray player attached to the HDMI In jack. โโ You may notice that the picture in the PIP window becomes slightly unnatural when you use the main screen to view a game or karaoke. โโ When Program Rating Lock is on, you cannot use PIP. โโ PIP Settings The picture from the external video source will be in the main screen and the picture from the TVโs tuner will be in the PIP sub-picture window.
โโ PIP: Activate or deactivate the PIP function. โโ Antenna: Select either Air or Cable as the input source for the subโโ โโ โโ โโ screen. Channel: Select the channel for the sub-screen. Size: Select a size for the sub-picture. Position: Select a position for the sub-picture. Sound Select: You can choose to listen to the sound from the Main picture or the Sub picture.
โโ Changing the Picture Options โ โ Advanced Settings OO MENUm โ Picture โ Advanced Settings โ ENTERE Advanced Settings are available in the Standard and Movie modes. To use, select an option using the โฒ/โผ/โ/โบ buttons, and then press ENTERE. NN When the TV is connected to a PC, you can only make changes to the White โ Balance and Gamma. โโ Dynamic Contrast: Adjusts the screen contrast. โโ Black Tone: Select the black level to adjust the screen depth. โโ Flesh Tone: Adjusts the amount of red in skin tones.
โโ RGB Only Mode: Displays the Red, Green and Blue color so you can make fine adjustments to hue and saturation. โโ Color Space: Adjusts the range and variety of colors (the color gamut) available to create images. NN To adjust Color, Red, Green, Blue and Reset, set Color Space to Custom. โโ White Balance: Adjusts the color temperature of the picture so that white โ objects look white (instead of, for example, slightly pink or slightly yellow) and the overall color of the picture looks natural.
โโ 10p White Balance: Controls the white balance by adjusting the red, green, and blue brightness over 10 specific intervals. NN Available when the picture mode is set to Movie. The external input (source) can be set to any input. NN Some external devices may not support this function. Interval: Select interval to adjust. Red: Adjust the red level. Green: Adjust the green level. โ Blue: Adjust the blue level. Reset: Resets the 10p White Balance to its default settings.
โโ Expert Pattern: By running the Expert Pattern function, you can calibrate the picture without a generator or filter. If the OSD menu disappears or a menu other than the Picture menu is opened, the TV saves the calibration and the Expert Pattern window disappears. NN While the Expert Pattern is running, the TV does not output sound. NN Only enabled when you select a Component or HDMI source.

Auto Visualization: When you change from one analog channel to another, displays the signal strength. โ NN Only available for analog channels.
โโ HDMI Black Level: Lets you select the black level on the screen to adjust the screen depth. NN Available only in HDMI mode (RGB signals). โโ Film Mode: Sets the TV so that it senses and then processes film signals โ from all sources automatically and adjusts the picture for optimum quality. NN The Cinema Smooth function is only activated when an HDMI 24Hz signal is inputted.
โโ Auto Motion Plus for LED 6100 series : Enhances motion in fast moving scenes. NN The info screen on your TV displays the resolution and frequency of the incoming video signal (60Hz). This frequency is not the frequency of the picture the TV is displaying when you have Auto Motion Plus on. NN If noise occurs on the screen, please set Auto Motion Plus to Off. If Auto Motion Plus is set to Custom, you can set Blur Reduction, Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, or Reset manually.

Balance: Adjusts the balance between the right and left speaker. 100Hz / 300Hz / 1kHz / 3kHz / 10kHz (Bandwidth Adjustment): Adjusts the volume level of specific bandwidth frequencies. Reset: Resets the equalizer to its default settings. NN If Speaker Select is set to External Speaker, Sound Effect is disabled.
โ โ 3D Audio for PDP 4900 / LED 6100 series OO MENUm โ Sound โ 3D Audio โ ENTERE 3D audio technology that provides an immersive sound corresponding to the effect of 3D video by utilizing audio depth control in perspective. NN Available in only when the TV is displaying 3D images.
โ โ Speaker Settings OO MENUm โ Sound โ Speaker Settings โ ENTERE โโ Speaker Select If you are listening to the sound track of a broadcast or movie through an external receiver, you may hear a sound echo caused by the difference in decoding speed between the TVโs speakers and the speakers attached to your audio receiver. If this occurs, set the TV to External Speaker. โ NN When you set Speaker Select to External Speaker, the TVโs speakers are turned off.
NN When Speaker Select is set to External Speaker, the VOLUME and MUTE buttons will not operate and the sound settings will be limited. NN If there is no video signal, both the TVโs speakers and the external speakers will be mute. โโ Auto Volume Normal equalizes the volume level on each channel, so that when you change channels, the volume level is the same. โ Night equalizes and decrease the volume level on each channel, so each channel is quieter.

โโ If you use a USB extension cable, the TV may not recognize the USB โ device or may not be able to read the files on the device. โโ If a USB device connected to the TV is not recognized, the list of files on the device is corrupted, or a file in the list is not played, connect the USB device to a PC, re-format the device, and then copy the files onto the device again.
Disconnecting a USB Device 1. Press the SOURCE button. 2. Select the USB device, and then press the TOOLS button. The Tools menu appears. 3. Select Remove USB, and then wait until the USB device is disconnected. After the device is disconnected, remove the USB device from the TV. NN To remove a USB device from the TV, we recommend that you use the Remove USB function.

โ โ Auto Network Setup Most wireless networks have an optional security system that requires devices that access the network to transmit an encrypted security code called an Access or Security Key. The Security Key is based on a Pass Phrase, typically a word or a series of letters and numbers of a specified length you were asked to enter when you set up wireless security for your wireless network.
2. The Network function searches for available wireless networks. When done, it displays a list of the available networks. 3. In the list of networks, press the โฒ/โผ buttons to select a network, and then press ENTERE button. NN If the wireless router is set to Hidden (Invisible), you have to select Add Network, and then enter the correct network name and Security key to establish the connection. โ 4. If the Enter security key screen appears, go to step 5.
5. Enter the security key using โฒ/โผ/โ/โบ buttons, and then select Done. NN You can also enter numbers by pressing the number buttons. NN You should be able to find the Pass Phrase on one of the set up screens you used to set up your router or modem. 6. The network connection screen appears, and network set up is done. NN If the Security key you enter fails, select Retry or IP Settings. NN If you want to set up the connection manually, select IP Settings.
WPS(PBC) Wireless Setup If your router has a WPS(PBC) button, follow these steps. 1. In the TV's menu, go to the Network Settings screen. (Network โ Network Settings) 2. The Network function searches for available wireless networks. When done, it displays a list of the available networks. 3. Scroll through the list. Find, and then select WPS(PBC). โ 4. Press the WPS(PBC) button on your router within 2 minutes.
โ โ Manual Network Setup Use the Manual Network Setup when connecting your TV to a network that requires a Static IP address. NN You can get the network connection values from you Internet provider. How to set up manually To set up your TVโs wireless network connection manually, follow these steps. 1. In the TV's menu, go to the Network Settings screen. โ (Network โ Network Settings) 2. The network function searches for available wireless networks. When done, it displays a list of the available networks.
4. If the Enter security key screen appears, go to step 5. If you select a wireless router that does not have wireless security, go to step 7. 5. To set wireless security for the router, enter the Security Key. โโ Enter the Security Key using the keyboard pop-up screen and your remote. โโ You should be able to find the Pass Phrase on one of the set up screens you used to set up your router. โ 6. When finished, select Done. The network connection screen appears and the verification process starts. 7.
10. Enter the first portion of the IP Address (for example, 105) into the first entry field using your remote. When done, go to the next field. 11. Enter the next portion of the IP Address. If Your TV Fails to Connect to the Internet If your TV fails to connect to the Internet, read the information below and view the troubleshooting guide on the following pages. Your TV may not be able to connect to the Internet because your ISP has permanently registered the MAC address (a unique identifying number) of your PC or modem, which it then authenticates each time you connect to the Internet as a way of preventing unauthorized access.
Troubleshooting a wireless network connection failure If the wireless network connection fails, try the following solutions: Issue Solutions and Explanations Wireless network connection failed. โข No wireless router selected. Go to Network Settings to select your router. Unable to connect to wireless router. โข Check if the router is turned on, and if it is on, try turning it off and on again. โข Check if you need to enter a security key to use the router.
Issue IP auto setting failed. Solutions and Explanations โข Try the following to set your IP address automatically or set your IP address manually by selecting IP Settings. - Ensure DHCP server is enabled on the router, and then unplug and plug-in the router. - Check if you need to enter a security key to use the router. - Contact your Internet Service Provider for more information. Unable to connect to the network. โ โข Check if your IP address is set correctly in IP Settings.
Issue Connected to your local network, but cannot connect to the Internet. Solutions and Explanations โข Make sure your Internet LAN cable is connected correctly to the LAN port of the router. โข Check the DNS settings in IP Settings. โข If the problem persists, contact your Internet Service Provider to access the Internet. Network setup โข Confirm that your router is connected to the Internet.
โโ Managing the Network Connected Devices for PDP 4900 series โ โ Wi-Fi Direct OO MENUm โ Network โ Wi-Fi Directโ ENTERE Use to connect the TV to wireless mobile devices. Using this function, you can connect wireless mobile devices with your TV directly without a wireless router. โ NN You can use this function only when the Samsung Wireless LAN Adapter is connected to the TV. NN Wi-Fi Direct only supports the Media Play function.
How to connect a device to your TV using the Wi-Fi Direct function NN To use this function, you must turn on the Wi-Fi Direct function on your device. 1. In the TV's menu, go to Wi-Fi Direct. The TV starts to search for devices. (Network โ Wi-Fi Direct) 2. Select a device from the list that the TV displays, and then press ENTERE button. โ 3. When the connection message appears on your device, allow it.

Playing the media contents saved on the devices 1. Connect a mobile phone or another device which supports AllShareโข to your network, and then select and play a media file on the device. A popup screen appears on the bottom of your TV. 2. Select Allow to accept the connected device. The media contents of the device can now be played on your TV. NN You can find the allowed devices on AllShare Settings.
Using the Media Play function, play the media contents of the devices connected to your TV through AllShareโข. 1. Press the MEDIA.P button to select Media Play. 2. Press โฒ/โผ button to select the desired category (Videos, Photos, or Music), and then press the ENTERE button. 3. When the DLNA device is selected, press the ENTERE button again. 4. Press the โฒ/โผ/โ/โบ button to select the desired file. โ 5. Press the ENTERE button.
NN NOTE โโ Contents may not play on your TV depending on their resolution and format. โโ The ENTERE and โ/โบ buttons may not work depending on the type of media content. โโ Using the mobile device, you can control the media playback. For details, refer to each device's userโs guide.
Using the AllShare Settings function OO MENUm โ Network โ AllShare Settings โ Content Sharing โ ENTERE Shows a list of mobile phones or connected devices which have been set up with this TV to use the AllShare Settings function. NN The AllShare Settings function is available in all devices which support DLNA DMC. โ โโ Allow / Deny: Allows/Blocks the devices. โโ Delete: Deletes the devices from the list. NN This function only deletes the name of the devices from the list.
Connecting to a PC through your network You can play pictures, music, and videos saved on your PC via a network connection through your TV using Media Play. NN If you want to use Media Play to play files saved on your PC through your TV, you should download โAllShare PC Softwareโ and the AllShare user's manual from โwww.samsung.comโ. 1. Connect your TV to your network. For network connection instructions, refer to "Network Settings". โ โโ We recommend you locate both TV and PC in same subnet.
2. Connect the PC on which you will install or have installed AllShare PC software and your TV to the same network. NN Functions that are not supported by Media Play when the TV is connected to a PC through a network: โโ Background music when playing a slide show. โโ The ฯ (REW) or ยต (FF) button while a movie is playing. โ NN The DivX DRM, Multi-audio, embedded caption is not supported. NN Make sure AllShare PC Software is permitted by the firewall program on your PC.
NN When you use Media Play through a network connection, depending on the functions of the server: โโ The sorting method may vary. โโ The ฯ (REW), ยต (FF) or โ (Pause) buttons may not work depending on the content information. NN When you play video through a network, the video may not run depending on the network status. Also, when you play video over a network connection, the video may not play smoothly.
