The time can be displayed in either the 24-hour or 12-hour notation. The defrost time and power level are set automatically. You simply select the programme and the weight. The following table presents the various Auto Rapid Defrost programmes, quantities, standing times and appropriate recommendations.

Care must therefore be taken when choosing the cookware. If the cookware is marked microwave-safe, you do not need to worry.
