Messaging
• To send a text message to a Contact, select Contact List and press
. A list of your Contacts appears. Highlight the desired Contact
and press to add the entry. You can check multiple Contacts (up
to a maximum of 10).
5. Enter your message using the keypad. If you wish to change your text
options, press the right softkey for Options and select one of the
following options:
• Alpha: Switches your Text entry mode to Alpha.
• T9(English): Switches your Text entry mode to T9 Text Input.
• Symbols: Switches your Text entry mode to Symbol.
• Number: Switches your Text entry mode to Number.
• Preset Msg: Allows you to add a preset message to your text
message.
• Text Options: Allows you to change your text message options (see
"Text Entry" on page 19).
6. Press the left softkey to Done when finished typing the message.
7. Press the left softkey to Send.
To read and reply to a text message:
When you receive a text message, you will see a message icon on your display
screen.
1. While the message is open, press the left softkey for Reply.
2. Compose your reply message.
3. When you are finished, press the left softkey to Send.
To erase messages:
1. Press for Menu.
2. Select Messaging.
3. Select Text & Picture Message.
4. Use the navigator key to highlight the location (Inbox, Outbox, Draft, or
Saved) of messages to erase and press .
5. Press the navigator key to select the message.
6. Press the right softkey for Options and select Erase.
