Making Calls Placing a call from your wireless phone is as easy as making a call from any landline phone. Enter the number, press , and you’re on your way to clear calls. 1. Pressing Mute/Unmute (left softkey) mutes the microphone during a call so the caller is unable to hear any sound. When you place an emergency 911 call, the GPS feature of your phone seeks information to calculate your approximate location.
