LCD Flat Panel TVs
Stepping up, the LT-26X506 (26”) and LT-32X506 (32”) LCD flat
panel TVs feature Natural Cinema (3-2 Pull Down),
Hyper Scan, Return+, Black Level Expansion, Auto
Sensing component video input, fixed audio output,
and two 5-watt speakers complement images with
high-quality Hyper Surround sound. Their included
half moon stand allows them to tilt and swivel.
(They have four aspect modes, and don’t have a
PC input or selectable color adjustment.)
High Quality Picture & Sound
◆ High resolution (1280 x 768) widescreen
W-XGA LCD display provides high bright-
ness, wide viewing angle, and a flicker-free
high resolution widescreen picture.
◆ They accept 1080i, 720p, 480p and 480i
signals and display at 768p. (Requires a set
top box to receive digital broadcasting).
◆ Natural Cinema (3-2) Pull Down technology
ultimately helps produce a smooth image
virtually free of edge noise so you can enjoy
the perfect home theater experience.
◆ Natural Cinema works for videos shot at 24
fps (frames per second) and on up to 30 fps
such as for animation. It is a sophisticated
sampling technology that smoothes out the
edges by sampling the first field, recogniz-
ing it as the first frame, and then duplicating
it in a continuous process.
◆ 3D Y/C comb filter corrects hanging dots,
color bleeding, and other cross color inter-
ference for a clear, sharp picture.
◆ Black Level Expansion outputs an 0 IRE sig-
nal (versus NTSC 7.5 cut-off) for richer, deep-
er black tones in every image.
◆ In addition to their front firing speakers
Hyper Surround Sound employs virtual
speakers to create a surround sound effect
without the need for rear speakers.
◆ Four adjustable widescreen aspect modes allow you to adjust the aspect ratio to suit your
viewing preferences. They include Panorama/Cinema/Full and Regular modes for 480i, 480p,
720p and 1080i signals. Panorama and Cinema modes for all signals are vertically adjustable.
— Panorama mode stretches a normal 4:3 aspect to fill the 16:9 viewing area
— Cinema mode “zooms in” on the center portion of a 4:3 image and expands it to fit the
entire 16:9 viewing area
— Full mode displays 16:9 HD signals at the perfect ratio
— Regular mode makes no adjustment to the incoming signal
◆ High-speed channel changer. Press and
hold the Hyper Scan button for blazingly
fast consecutive channel changing.
◆ Return + feature lets you set a channel to
be returned to after channel surfing.
Ordinary Return brings you back to the last
channel viewed.
◆ High contrast graphic on-screen displays in
English, French and Spanish
◆ V-Chip lets parents use TV rating codes to
block out programs from children. Channel
Guard prevents video games and other
sources from being displayed.
◆ Auto sensing component video input
assures the best possible picture quality,
whether watching DTV, D-VHS or DVD. Also
offer S-Video and three A/V-inputs, fixed
monitor output and a headphone jack.
◆ Equipped with fixed audio, sound can be
sent to additional equipment like an
A/V receiver, speakers or even wireless
